UNH reminds me of the dems. They know they made/make mistakes. At which point they could take the hit, own up to their mistakes, learn the lesson, apologize, correct course and move forward. Or, double down. UNH, like the DNC, has chosen to double down. Dismissing criticism while attacking/intimidating critics is not a sound strategy - not only from an ethical standpoint, but it's also rarely effective lol. (Check Bill Ackman's X for more context)
