Micro long into print. - sidelines watching this for some time - last two prints had pretty bad reactions - not ideal - chart also looks double-top-ish zoom out, not great - but financials still solid, growth great, mgns great... i couldn't play for NASDAQ:LRCX but i'm happy to bit a bite on this one given a few factors, namely if NASDAQ:MSFT , NASDAQ:META and NASDAQ:TSLA beat (which assuming all three is low probability in theory, but i think is probably >50% chance), then something like this rips b/c NASDAQ:NVDA will rip and bring the whole complex with it. - in other words, financials check box, it got kicked in the nuts in the last few days, and any decent confirm from big co's will translate into semi rip and therefore equipment/ test co's rip (not to be confused with RIP'ing which we r trying to avoid) what do u think anon? worth the micro punt to keep our skills sharp? V

Which is a rapid break of the momentum.

There was a pull back and the signal seems to be aligned for a potential bullish continuation v1.6 Exit rule tweaked to Daily 10SMA Calibrated entry specs, to slightly loosen up the Stoploss atr_x = 2.5 entry_atr_xfactor = 3.7 ----- This is a simple systematic Trend strategy where entry is based on two conditions 1. Price crossing over the EMA 2. The present ATR is less than an ATR multiple The ATR condition allows us to enter trades that has not gapped too much as that usually results in a price pullback Risk Fixed & tight SL based on ATR multiples closes trades fast Closing of the trades is a simple price cross over the daily SMA This strategy only has a 34.38% win rate. So most trades will end up as losers until we hit a strong upswing.

TERADYNE (TER) a AI / Chip Sector Stock SHORTTER shown here on a 30 minute chart has asended in a diverging channel to the resistance of January pivot high shown in the line and zone drawn onto the chart. My idea is to short it from here targeting first about 106 which is the line drawn from a pivot before the paradoxical fall with a decent earnings report. The lower target is the support trendline of the channel or about 103.5. This is about a 6% potential trade and more with margin or put options. I expect the trade to last two days as falling down is usually quick than rising.

TER will it continue to the up side?* Exceptional earnings * Very strong up trend in the long term * Very high 3-month relative strength of 6.35 in the Tech sector * Pays out dividends * I last discussed this early December 2021 when it broke out of an 11 month base. * Since then it did move higher and due to recent market conditions it had a slight pull back. * Used $163.03 as support before breaking below. * Now it's breaking out of the pull back zone and showing signs of going higher. Trade Idea: * Given the market uncertainty you can wait to see how it behaves next week. * You can enter at today's close * Or if you're looking for a slightly better entry you can look for an opportunity near the $163.03 area. * If you have access to Volume Profiles you can see that the $163 area did receive quite a bit of volume so I would expect it to serve as support moving forward.
