VHYL Daily - Loses important support Significant break lower which will be confirmed on a daily close. If it cannot regain the support level, 43 will be the next region to look for support. Only about 3% of my ISA but will potentially look to cut this afternoon if we don't see a bounce.
VHYL Daily - Beautiful break higherA number of Vanguard's equity ETFs have formed the same pattern - this is the first one I've seen that has confirmed the break to the upside and I have been buying slowly into them in anticipation of a break (VUKE, VGER, VAPX). I already hold some of these, but would love to buy more on a pullback. Also NB to note is March = quarterly dividends.

Short On VHYLThrough out this trade war -because it has unequivocally turned into a trade war- the bigger, more industrial, older model, businesses have been the ones to suffer. This ETF encompasses dividend yielding companies in the developed world and they will be going down by between 5-10%.
As always with my short ideas, they really are opportunities to get in funds that I want to be in long-term. I'll be putting buy orders at the key support levels.
