About Angola interest rate
In Angola, interest rate decisions are taken by The National Bank of Angola (Banco Nacional de Angola). On May 24th 2018, the central bank unified the marginal lending facility rate and the basic interest rate, creating the BNA Rate (Taxa BNA) which became the new benchmark interest rate. Until then, the key rate was the Taxa Básica de Juro (Taxa BNA) and until October 2011 the official interest rate was the Discount Rate (Taxa de Redesconto).
