The most important components in the CPI is Food and Non Alcoholic Beverages (56 percent of total weight). Miscellaneous Goods and Services account for 7 percent; Transport for 7 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuel for 5 percent and Furniture, Household Goods and Maintenance for 5 percent. The index also includes: Communication (4 percent); Clothing and Footwear (4 percent); Health (3 percent); Restaurant and Hotels (3 percent); Education (3 percent); Recreation and Culture (2 percent) and Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (2 percent).
