BlackRock Inc. is one of the world’s leading asset management firms offering a range of risk management, strategic advisor, and enterprise investment system services. With about $7.8 trillion worth of assets under management (excluding money market assets), as of Sep 30, 2020, it caters to institutional, intermediary and individual investors. Their price action is an embodiment of their ability to execute. Listen to their commentary because it will be a huge indicator for the future of this market. BLK Short (Educational macro)Drew this a while ago, never reached my target. Using this as a proxy for financials because quite frankly I am lazy. Would not touch any financials until this hits low 800s. Tightening yield spreads are awful for banks, because banks lend money on the long end of the yield curve and borrow on the short end of the curve. The Fed was smart about the reverse repo rates and mentioning rate hikes, as it forced the long end of the yield curve to flatten since people sell off short term treasuries. The dot plot showed overnight federal funds rates rising to 60 bps. That is much higher than the current 21 bps of the 2-year bill. From Investopedia, one reason the yield curve may flatten is market participants may be expecting inflation to decrease or the Federal Reserve to raise the federal funds rate in the near term. It is kind of funny, the banks drove their own parabolic rise by crowding the bond trade and pushing the inflation narrative. Now Daddy Fed is wringing their arms and forcing them down the yield curve, causing their own downfall. The rotation from value / financials to growth / tech remains strong in my opinion, as the inflation trade was way overdone. 10Y went from < 100 bps to 170 bps in the span of 3 months. That is a metric crap ton of bond selling. Seriously, the US bond market is an ocean of liquidity. People are correcting themselves now. ARKK has a nice uptrend and was green on quad witching. DO NOT all in growth tech til after Tuesday, as JPOW is speaking, and people get scared any time he clears his throat. Take a lozenge my friend.

Expecting a 15% movement on BLK Today, we will share a bullish perspective we have on Black Rock - The main structure we are observing is an ascending channel - Inside the ascending channel, we can see a flag pattern above a support zone - We saw a breakout of the Flag pattern and a secondary corrective structure above it - Now, we are waiting for a breakout above the green line to confirm the expected movement - If that happens, we will trade towards the higher trendline of the ascending channel - Our Stop loss will be located below the support zone - The resolution of this setup can last 30 to 45 days - The risk we will take is 1% of our Capital - The risk-reward ratio we are looking for is 1.5 Thanks for reading!

Blackrock: THE choice from the financial sectorBLK’s long-, mid and short-term trend charts are presented. BlackRock, Inc. is an American multinational investment management corporation based in New York City. Founded in 1988, initially as a risk management and fixed income institutional asset manager, BlackRock is the world's largest asset manager, with $8.67 trillion in assets under management as of January 2021. BlackRock operates globally with 70 offices in 30 countries and clients in 100 countries. Along with Vanguard and State Street, BlackRock is considered one of the Big Three index funds that dominate corporate America. (Information from Wikipedia) Blackrock states “We’re investors putting to work the hard-earned savings of people and institutions around the world in global markets”. Perhaps there is no better way to invest your money in the long-term than to be a Blackrock’s shareholder. It’s sure that they know better where, when and how to invest. Longer Term BLK Idea (Jan 14th through July 2021)BlackRock, Inc. (January 14th 2021 through July 16th 2021) Low: $702 - $770 High: $1,097- $1,231 2020 Q4 Earnings projection expected tomorrow: $8.80 - $8.84 Copy and pasted from a shorter term chart linked in related below: On the technical side of things, BlackRock's stock is looking fairly bullish to me right now, and not just because of the recent run up its had the past few weeks. I started looking at this firm last night after Cindicator offered some questions for me to submit analysis for. I think BLK will show a large increase tomorrow and potential Rising Window candle gap from current close price earlier today. It could even go all the way to $880-890 in the next day if earnings report comes out positive tomorrow morning. One notable aspect I'm finding in BLK's current/upcoming ventures is the bitcoin hype being spread by the CEO. Could BLK end up moving towards a bitcoin trust fund much like Grayscale has? Would be an interesting development to see play out, and I think it could eventually happen. Here's an article from Coindesk describing BLK's interest in moving towards blockchain technology. BlackRock Seeks VP Blockchain Lead to ‘Drive Demand’ for Firm’s Crypto Offerings - December 27th 2020 Quoted: >"BlackRock CEO Larry Fink recently made some bullish comments on bitcoin (BTC, +14.82%), stating it has 'caught the attention' of many people and that the nascent cryptocurrency asset class can possibly 'evolve' into a global market asset" With the charts and the positive news surrounding BlackRock recently, I think tomorrow's earnings announcement could surpass the original 3 month WS projections of $8.40, but not sure if it will surpass current estimate of $9.09. Morgan Stanley's estimate of $8.89 earnings sounds right on track with my estimate of $880 for the actual stock price. Another thing I want to point out is that the timeframe for which I think this could all happen could be too long and extended, perhaps these gains and retraces are seen in half or less the time instead, but I will have to come back later to see what parts need recalculation if it comes to that. You can use it for the following purposes: Trend ------We are in an uptrend when dots are below the candles. ------Downtrend is when dots are above the price. Entry Signals ------ Buy signals ( Only in an uptrend market ). The first dot below the candle ------ Sell Signals ( Only in a downtrend market ). The first dot above the candle. Stop loss ------ Long positions: Put the stop loss below the dot. ( You can move the SL every time to use as a trailing SL.) ------ Short positions: Put the stop loss above the dot. ( You can move the SL every time to use as a trailing SL.) As I said before to avoid false entries as much as possible only trade in the direction of the long time trend. Use a trend indicator or big MA to determine the trend direction. Settings for AF numbers ( Acceleration Factor ) can be changed but I prefer the default settings.

Blackrock ShortI have highlighted the XLF representing the broader financial sector in purple and the S&P 500 index in gray. As you can see it has outperformed the financial sector by a longshot and outperformed the S&P 500 index. Since Blackrock’s bread and butter is asset management with nearly 8 trillion AUM, the overall concern with overvaluations in the markets combined with BLK’s significant outperformance to its peers and to the broader market in which it invests; I’d say it is time for a pullback. I would expect it to correct to its previous highs as seen with the green line. I do not expect it to head down towards the XLF, but it is possible it could correct all the way to where the S&P is. It is trading at about 21x earnings.
