Short Sensitive Stock SnowflakeThis one is headed for the dumps. Dead cat pattern right here. I'm not insulting cats, it's just a pattern. Remember, when I say a stock is headed for the dumps, I mean the stock, not you, courageous longer-er of SNOW. You're not a bad human. SNOW is just primed for a market-wide dump. Don't feel like you need to defend SNOW. Stocks don't have feelings either. They are meaningless concepts that the citadel somehow bamboozled you into thinking they have tangible value. They don't. There's a reason most gains are unrealized. Your stocks aren't valuable until you get rid of them. They don't take offense. You shouldn't either. Short TESLA too while you're at it, which is almost like shorting SNOW. TSLA has a lot of sensitive folks who take short calls personally. Please, don't mistake the word "SHORT TURDSLA" or PUTS ON TESLA" for "I think you're an awful human being who doesn't deserve to be alive." SHORT TURDSLA is just a funny way of saying TSLA is a turd stock in a bubble and you should sell calls or buy puts on. Lighten up. If you were really long on it you're fucking rich so no need to troll. I get it. When our parents don't reflect our emotions as a kid, things can be tough. Been there, healing that. But please, let's do the work together and not get salty on TV. Let's find the light inside all of us. You can do no wrong if you are long on yourself. You can make a true, real fortune and have real tangible wealth with 0DTE calls on oneself. Start now. Who cares about theta. Remember, when we lash out, we're not being sensitive. Notable order flow supporting this idea is: **all 2/19/21 expiration** $400C $585k sweep $335C $1.6M sweep $330C $1.4M Sweep *1/29/21 expiration** $355C $104k block $380C $270k block Safer play would be selling puts on this. Called bottom on SNOW last week; now found support on the 50-emaSNOW started a reversal after hitting a fib retracement level mid last week, where I called the bottom (see linked chart) and bought some shares. Here is a summary of the current chart and my trading strategy: BUY SIGNALS 1. +DI crossed above -DI (green line above red line) and ADX line (white) is flat but starting to curl up after the drop (signals a trend may be about to start; an uptrend in this case). 2. MACD curling up 3. Support on 50-ema, which coincides with the .618 fib extension. Seems to be strong at the moment. TRADING STRATEGY Now, it is not because these indicators are pointing to a bullish move that that move has to happen, after all there is only so much the charts can tell us. So to protect your capital (if you buy), you could buy at current levels with a tight stop loss just below the .5 fib level, around $293. Take into account there is support on emas on lower time frames (4hr and 1hr) between the current price and the.5 fib level so those could potentially hold the price if it breaks below the 50-ema on the daily chart. That is why you want to place your stop loss below those moving averages so you are not stopped out too early. That's what I am doing anyway. If the price falls and still triggers your stop loss but then bounces back up you can always jump back in if indicators and volume point to and upward trend. If the price continues going down you are saved from further losses. This is as minimal risk as it gets. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS 1. Also keep in mind that millions of new shares were release from lockup last week so there may be more sellers waiting the price to move up to unload their shares. However, because we are right on support, this trade would present minimal risk if you place your stop loss accordingly. 2. Also, this analysis is contingent on how SNOW opens tomorrow. If it opens way below the current price or way above, the trading strategy might need to be adjusted. Please use your diligence if either scenario is presented. Why is waiting better than FOMOING?If you would only watch the 1-hour chart, then you would say it is a very good entry point, because of the high volume breakout. But if you take a look at a higher timeframe, then you would notice that we only backtested the previous bearish pattern (Head and Shoulder). So in any case like this, I suggest you sit back and wait for a confirmation. Such a confirmation could be a gap-up opening on Monday, with a lot of participants.
