NYT - Up ContinuationA Large Bullish Channel has formed encompassing the entire price history on NYT
A smaller but more inclined channel is also apparent (in white), I expect this channel to take price to the top of the larger channel in green
From the top of this larger channel we can see if there is just a retest or a breakout
NYT: Fighting the Fed?!New York Times Co
Short Term - We look to Buy at 29.68 (stop at 27.17)
Although the bears are in control, the stalling negative momentum indicates a turnaround is possible. Trend line support is located at 29.60. Support could prove difficult to breakdown. We therefore, prefer to fade into the dip with a tight stop in anticipation of a move back higher. Although the anticipated move higher is corrective, it does offer ample risk/reward today.

Khan's Watchlist - KW 01/02 - $NYTDropped hard after announcing to buy “The Athletic” for 550M. Will pressure the Earnings/Profit for the next 3 years but deliver a strong subscriber-base and well-established sports-journalists that moved from newspapers to the website in the past. In addition, it is a cash-only deal so no share-dilution.
I expect it to drop a bit more – 0.5Fib-Level/Bottom Yearly Trend-Channel looking good for a possible reversal.
NYT it’s time to go upThe Marketmiracle advisor has just generated a LONG input signal on the title New york times with target 48.64
Indeed, the signal is compatible with the graph and the fact that the economy is recovering a bit around the world plays in favor of one of the most famous newspapers.
I’ll go long on the title as soon as I have cash.
This idea is based on a signal generated by the advisor Marketmiracle, scroll the page to find the link to the free page of the signals of the advisor that you can consult without any cost and without registration.
NEW YORK TIMES CONYSE:NYT
Hey, Treaders.
It's time to look at the New York Times stock.
I've been watching it for a long time.
What's on the chart:
1. Since April 23, the instrument has been growing intensively.
2. On June 17, reaching a historical maximum, the instrument appeared a strong short player, which stopped the growth at 43.26.
3. On June 19, the buyer made another attempt to break through the level, made a close retest, but failed to take the level.
4. There was a retreat to the lower level of the channel. The border is mirrored.
5. But here is an important observation: despite the fact that the lower support level was tested, the tool did not enter the short area.
6. Let's see further: the upper resistance limit has been tested several times with a false breakouts and we see that the instrument is being redeemed again.
7. At the last trading session the price was raised and pressed against the level.
It is a safe scenario:
We wait for the level to breakout, fixation and enter a long after retest.
SL is placed under the breakout bar.
Aggressive scenario:
Enter the long in a breakout bar.
SL is placed under the level.
NYT earnings play (already!?) NYT won't be part of apple news. Maybe that means that they are jammin and don't want to share their growth with King Apple.
Looking at moving averages, it's heading down towards it's 50dma, and it recently crossed down past it's 20dma (so maybe ready for swing up?). So maybe now is a good time to get in if you're bullish for earnings.
Earnings are May 2.
I'm looking at the May 33/34 for about .40.
