GBPUSD I Daily CLS I KL - IFVG /OB - Model 1 Hey, Market Warriors, here is another outlook on this instrument
If you’ve been following me, you already know every setup you see is built around a CLS range, a Key Level, Liquidity and a specific execution model.
If you haven't followed me yet, start now.
My trading system is completely mechanical — designed to remove emotions, opinions, and impulsive decisions. No messy diagonal lines. No random drawings. Just clarity, structure, and execution.
🧩 What is CLS?
CLS is real smart money — the combined power of major investment banks and central banks moving over 6.5 trillion dollars a day. Understanding their operations is key to markets.
✅ Understanding the behaviour of CLS allows you to position yourself with the giants during the market manipulations — leading to buying lows and selling highs - cleaner entries, clearer exits, and consistent profits.
🛡️ Models 1 and 2:
From my posts, you can learn two core execution models.
They are the backbone of how I trade and how my students are trained.
📍 Model 1
is right after the manipulation of the CLS candle when CIOD occurs, and we are targeting 50% of the CLS range. H4 CLS ranges supported by HTF go straight to the opposing range.
📍 Model 2
occurs in the specific market sequence when CLS smart money needs to re-accumulate more positions, and we are looking to find a key level around 61.8 fib retracement and target the opposing side of the range.

GBP/USD Faces Strong Resistance and Bearish PressureGBP/USD Faces Strong Resistance and Bearish Pressure
GBP/USD tested a key daily zone from September 2024 but faced strong selling pressure, dropping nearly 190 pips.
One reason for this bearish move is President Trump stepping back from his threats to remove Fed Chair Jerome Powell, which had briefly unsettled investor confidence in U.S. assets. However, as European trading began, most of those earlier gains faded.
This setup remains risky because GBP/USD often doesn’t respond well to sell signals. However, if Trump reaches a deal with China, we could see a more decisive bearish move, as indicated on the chart.
You may find more details in the chart!
Thank you and Good Luck!

GBPUSD COT and Liquidity AnalysisHey what up traders welcome to the COT data and Liquidity report. It's always good to go with those who move the market here is what I see in their cards. I share my COT - order flow views every weekend.
🎯 Non Commercials added significant longs and closed shorts at the same time. So for that reason I see the highs as a liquidity for their longs profits taking.
📍Please be aware that institutions report data to the SEC on Tuesdays and data are reported on Fridays - so again we as retail traders have disadvantage, but there is possibility to read between the lines. Remember in the report is what they want you to see, that's why mostly price reverse on Wednesday after the report so their cards are hidden as long as possible. However if the trend is running you can read it and use for your advantage.
💊 Tip
if the level has confluence with the high volume on COT it can be strong support / Resistance.

GBPUSD – Rejected at Multi-Month Resistance Amid Weak UK DataGBPUSD has clearly rejected the 1.3413–1.3443 resistance zone—a key area that previously acted as strong supply in September 2024. The pair has formed a bearish rejection candle and is now showing signs of downward momentum.
Key Levels:
Resistance: 1.3413 – 1.3443 (major rejection zone)
TP1: 1.3176 (minor structure)
TP2: 1.3014 (key demand zone)
TP3: 1.2890 (deeper support target)
Bearish Confluences:
Price rejected from major resistance
Bearish candle formation
Previous similar reaction from the same level
Momentum indicators favor downside
📰 Fundamental Analysis:
🔻 UK Data Weakens Further:
According to the latest S&P Global Flash UK PMI (Apr 23):
Composite Output Index: 48.2 (vs 51.5 in March) – 29-month low
Services PMI: 48.9 – 27-month low
Manufacturing PMI: 44.0 – 20-month low
This shows UK private sector activity contracting, led by a steep fall in new export orders, the worst since May 2020.
🔺 Inflation Still High:
Despite falling activity, input and output prices surged, driven by National Insurance hikes and wage growth. This makes it harder for the BoE to justify a cut, despite recession signs.
📌 Conclusion:
The bearish rejection at 1.3413 resistance, combined with deteriorating UK fundamentals, suggests a strong downside setup for GBPUSD. A break below 1.3176 would confirm the bearish move, targeting 1.3014 and potentially 1.2890.
#GBPUSD: Major Swing Sell Coming On GU, What's your views? OANDA:GBPUSD , as discussed in our previous analysis, where we predicted price would reach our target area and then reject it. The price has almost reached this area, and we are now waiting for it to fully complete the move so that we can take a swing sell on the GBP. Currently, the British pound is stronger and bullish due to the UK’s strong economic growth. However, this is not the case for the US dollar. The dollar is struggling to keep up with other currencies and is currently the worst-performing currency of the month of April.
While focusing on GBPUSD as a pair, it has been extremely bullish since the start of April. However, we are now at a point where there are no strong reasons for the pair to remain bullish and continue its uptrend. There are fundamental signs that will eventually reverse the bearish trend.
Our advice to all is to wait for the price to do its thing. Once it reaches our target area, it may show strong bearish dominance. However, this is not a guarantee that it will behave as we expect. There are two targets that you can focus on once you trade is activated.
Good luck and trade safely!

GBPUSD - Bearish Pressure Soon!Hello TradingView Family / Fellow Traders. This is Richard, also known as theSignalyst.
📈As per our last GBPUSD analysis, it rejected the $1.27 - $1.28 support zone and has been trading higher.
This week, GBPUSD is approaching the upper bound of its rising wedge pattern marked in red.
Moreover, the blue zone around $1.34 is a strong resistance and previous weekly high.
🏹 Thus, the highlighted red circle is a strong area to look for sell setups as it is the intersection of the upper red trendline and resistance.
📚 As per my trading style:
As #GBPUSD retests the red circle zone, I will be looking for bearish reversal setups (like a double top pattern, trendline break , and so on...)
📚 Always follow your trading plan regarding entry, risk management, and trade management.
Good luck!

GBP/USD - Watch out for a possible rejection! The British pound is currently moving towards the upside, showing a gradual but steady climb. However, it is approaching a significant resistance area that could pose a challenge to further gains.
-------------------------------
Double top
This resistance zone was previously a strong support level before the market formed a double top pattern and subsequently broke below it. As is often the case in technical analysis, this former support has now flipped into resistance, making it a key area where price could face strong selling pressure and potential rejection.
-------------------------------
1h FVG
Adding to the confluence, this resistance zone aligns closely with a 1h Fair Value Gap (FVG). FVGs often attract price back into them before a reaction occurs, making this area even more significant for a potential reversal.
-------------------------------
Golden Pocket
Just below the FVG lies the "Golden Pocket", the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level from the most recent drawdown. The Golden Pocket is one of the most closely watched Fibonacci levels by traders and is known for its strong influence on price action. Its proximity to the current structure increases the likelihood of a notable reaction, as many market participants will be watching this area closely for signs of rejection.
-------------------------------
Conclusion
Overall, the combination of previous support-turned-resistance, the 1-hour FVG, and the Golden Pocket retracement forms a high-probability zone where the British pound could encounter heavy resistance and a potential downside move.

GBPUSD → A false breakout can trigger a correction FX:GBPUSD is strengthening as part of the rally associated with the fall in the dollar index, but there is a technically strong resistance zone ahead that could trigger a correction...
The dollar index, due to US politics, desire for lower interest rates, tariff war, continues its decline, giving an advantage to the currency pairs of the main basket.
Against this background, the pound sterling is strengthening and is ready to test the key resistance at the moment: 1.343. The huge pool of liquidity, accumulated behind this area may not let the price up at the first time. The last test and confirmation of this level was half a year ago.
Resistance levels: 1.343
Support levels: 1.3292, 1.3207
A sharp approach to resistance, a false breakout without the possibility of growth continuation and consolidation below the resistance 1.3430 may provoke a correction in the imbalance zone or liquidity 1.3292.
Regards R. Linda!
“GBP/USD in Danger! Massive Drop Near Key Resistance!”GBP/USD is fast approaching a massive resistance zone (1.3550 – 1.3650) and showing clear signs of bullish exhaustion.
All technical indicators are flashing warning signals for a potential sharp drop!
Fundamental Drivers:
• UK’s economy is struggling under persistent inflation pressures.
• The Fed remains hawkish, supporting USD strength.
Targets:
• A break below 1.3200 could accelerate the move toward 1.2900, 1.2500, or even lower!
Watch for bearish reversal candlestick formations on the Daily and 4H charts to catch the move early!
GBPUSD Rejected at Key Resistance – Bearish Outlook StaysLast week, in my GBPUSD analysis, I highlighted that the pair had reached a major resistance area – a level that has acted as both support and resistance over the past few years. I mentioned that a correction from this zone was very likely.
The market reacted perfectly: GBPUSD dropped from that resistance, and after the initial move, it entered into a consolidation phase.
The key question now: Is the correction finished or will the downside continue?
My outlook remains the same – I still expect further downside towards the 1.3000 level.
Here’s why I stay bearish:
- Strong historical resistance rejected the price.
- No real bullish momentum above 1.34 zone.
- Consolidation after the drop looks more like a pause, not a reversal.
Trading Plan:
I will look to sell rallies, staying bearish as long as the 1.3400 area (recent high) is not broken.

Bearish drop? The Cable (GBP/USD) is reacting off the pivot which is a pullback resistance and could drop tot he 1st support that lines up with the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement.
Pivot: 1.3291
1st Support: 1.3160
1st Resistance: 1.3417

GBPUSD COT and Liquidity AnalysisHey what up traders welcome to the COT data and Liquidity report. This is a big part of my FX Trading. Im always trying to trade with the Big players so knowing their positions is good thing.
Please be aware that institutions report data to the SEC on Tuesdays and data are reported on Fridays - so again we as retail traders have disadvantage, but there is possibility to read between the lines. Remember in the report is what they want you to see, that's why mostly price reverse on Wednesday after the report so their cards are hidden as long as possible. However if the trend is running you can read it and use for your advantage.
I created this simple free indicator which you can find in the my scripts. It's highlighting the day of the real report - Tuesday.
Here is the tip if the level has confluence with the high volume on COT it can be strong support / Resistance.
So what we see in the report of this week:
We can see slight decrease in the longs and increase in the shorts but for the reversal it has to happen in the liquidity pool. So for the bigger pullback I think market makers will be adding shorts att highs as well as closing longs.

GBP/USD: The Pound Rebounds Back Above 1.33000During the last trading session, the GBP/USD pair posted a gain of more than 0.5% in favor of the pound, as U.S. dollar weakness continues, even after some positive remarks regarding the U.S.–China trade war. For now, it seems that investors are viewing European currencies as a potential safe haven amid the current wave of economic uncertainty across markets. This shift in sentiment has helped to sustain consistent bullish pressure on the pound in the short term.
Broad Ascending Channel
Since mid-January, the pair has been forming a strong ascending channel, with price now trading above the 200-period simple moving average, reinforcing long-term bullish momentum. So far, no bearish correction has been strong enough to break the channel, which remains the most relevant technical formation to monitor for upcoming GBP/USD moves.
RSI
Despite strong bullish momentum, a notable divergence has begun to form on the RSI, as the pair continues to post higher highs in price, while the RSI shows flat peaks in the short term. In addition, the RSI line is hovering near the 70 level, which marks the overbought zone. Both signals suggest a potential imbalance in market forces, possibly opening the door to short-term bearish corrections.
Key Levels:
1.33763 – Key Resistance: This level represents the most recent highs reached by GBP/USD. A sustained move above this area could confirm strong bullish momentum and lead to an acceleration within the current channel.
1.30448 – Near Support: This area corresponds to a consolidation zone seen over the past few months. It may serve as a tentative barrier where short-term pullbacks could occur.
1.28248 – Major Support: This is a critical level, aligned with the 200-period simple moving average. A decisive move below this support could invalidate the current bullish formation and potentially trigger a long-term bearish shift.

GBPUSD Analysis with ICT ConceptsMy current outlook on the British Pound is bearish, with an expectation of lower levels in the near term.
A key level I am anticipating price to reach is the Weekly Open, which has not yet been touched.
Yesterday's price action seems to be confirming this potential move towards the Weekly Open.
Therefore, I am actively looking for confirmed short position opportunities to align with this view.
Trade safe!
Liquidity drag, potential upsideA very slow and surprising Tuesday given easter break is finished. Liquidity was flowing through from Monday up until the close. Today we have seen a very slow climb to the downside - not much of a reaction from our recent political news with Trump & the Jerome Powells thoughts on cutting rates.
Personal opinion - markets were very reactionary on the tarrifs. There is some consensus for bad news to come out in the UK which are labelled "high importance" - price action could be factoring in this for today, however, we must consider the fact of how slow bears did today technically both in European & US markets sessions.
Swing to the upside & knock off to knock off 1.34 before anything further. However, we can still see a potential short term continuation to the mid 50s in 1.32 , where I will slowly take away positions.
No stop loss, swing trade, opened positions ranging from 1.3345-1.3375 areas. Just wanted to share an idea in the midst of now of a good speculative entry.
GBPUSD will continue to grow after a false breakoutGBPUSD confidently continues bullish trend after 1-week consolidation. But further the price meets resistance from D1 from which, due to the volume of liquidity above the level, can form a correction
Scenario: primary reaction in the form of a false breakout and correction to fvg or to the zone of interest 0.5 fibo. After that, the upward movement within the trend and correction of the dollar may resume.
