KAMCO Investment Co. KSC engages in the management and provision of asset management and financial services. It operates through the following segments: Investment Banking and Advisory, Asset Management, Brokerage, and Strategic Investments and Corporate Overheads. The Investment Banking and Advisory segment focuses on private placement of equities and debt, advising and managing listings, initial public offerings, arranging conventional and Islamic debt, buy and sell side advisory, advising on strategy, privatization, mergers and reverse mergers, and acquisitions and debt restructuring. The Asset Management segment offers asset management services cover both local and international markets and include securities trading, derivatives trading, discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management, custody services, portfolio structuring and asset allocation advice, mutual funds and alternative instruments. The Brokerage segments is involved in quoted and unquoted equity and debt instruments brokerage activities and margin financing. The Strategic Investments and Corporate Overheads segment refers to strategic investments include investments which are long-term in nature and are aligned with the group’s long-term strategy. The company was founded on September 16, 1998 and is headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
