APLD Friday's daily candle could be a Bullish Doji Star, which would indicate a reversal. Today's action will determine if that is the case. In a normal scenario, the declining daily volume, the somewhat high RSI, the narrowing of the bullish MACD, and Friday's daily sell signal would all be arguments against that. Although the weaker volume supports a bullish thesis as a potential indicator of indecision (lack of seller conviction). However, we got another hourly buy signal late Friday and bullish MACD. The 4-hour MACD cool-off looks played out. So new catalysts may occur before APLD even has time to think about a major cool down. It will be interesting to see how next week plays out. As far as specific catalysts, there are a number of them that could happen in the not too distance future. Given the fact that the second half of the year should be bullish to very bullish for APLD, I can't imagine there will be any huge selloffs....at least not any that last long.
APLD Weekly chart still looks strong. Tomorrow may give a clue about where this is going in the very short term. We need to break and stay above $15.50 for continued current uptrend. Longer term we all know where this is going.
