Breakout, Especially from the all time high, has been one of the best strategy to get a good position. This is a good breakout by a suitable bullish candle. Based on my view, next target could be about 165 and a sure SL at about 135 or whatever your trading orders.
It may come back for a pullback but personally have preferred to get position due to strong breakout.

Double BottomIn August and at 4th October the present level has been the low. It is a confirmed bottom now that we have reached now again. The Hammer can be seen as another confirmation. Thus it is more likely that the bottom will hold and we may see a retracement in the next days.

Technical Analysis (Elliott Waves):
Following the correction of March 2020 shares of ICE have enjoyed explosive growth cycle which is visibly slowing down now
And when the fifth wave is forming by a choppy movement in price it is very likely to be an Ending Diagonal, in this case Expanding one
It is likely that wave 4 has completed and we can expect another zig-zag to the upside to update the historic high of $139
Alternative Scenario: one of the risks with this scenario is the exceeding depth of wave 4 so as an alternative it is possible that the whole wave 5 has already completed, let's see how things develop

$ICE A Setup I Would Pass OnSharing this as an example of a setup that I would pass on. While the symmetrical triangle pattern looks appealing for a breakout trade setup, the constant higher than average volume on down days (Red arrows on volume bars) is indicative of distribution within the pattern vs accumulation. Its better to avoid setups with such characteristics. It might still work, but remember, its not about this one trade but rather about your ability to execute on the highest probably trades, and a patterns with such volume profile are prone to fail more often than not.
