Technical Rebound in the short term? Premise: The US will enter a recession so the behavior of stocks may not follow the fundamentals. Many funds may have to liquidate positions to have liquidity. INTEL: The "Book Value" is around $26.5 The Blue flags indicate strong support tested several times over the years between $18.6 and $20.40. The Red flags indicate a strong resistance to the same values. If there are no "black swans", given the situation of strong oversold near a support band that was tested several times, a technical rebound of around 20% is likely.

intel at their lowest price since 2011The green lines are support ladder of fundamental iconic levels each support area is a potential buying area if you believe intel can make it out of the mud. because this stock is not preforming well at the moment we cant know exactly where it will stop if it stops what if it get bought by a bigger company (such as nvidia?) intel is a big stock with big history so i refuse to believe it will disappear entirely. Therefore this is a great buying oprotunity the strategy to invest in this falling stock and minimise risk is to figure out how much you're willing to invest and on each point of the ladder you'd like to invest a portion of what you've decided to invest when you have more confluence with the trendlines you'd like to increase the portion each buying entry. the trend lines are more likely to hold than the lines BUT fundamently these lines are good so they should be included. in this sense of investing if the stock rise above you're in profit so you're happy if it loses you have another buy entry to make a decent avg of the lows, the increase in portions would also improve your avg and when the stock gets out of the mud you can see a decent profit.

Intel could keep falling, but opportunity is opening upIntel is definitely in trouble for this year in 2024. But dont get it wrong, America wants a domestic chip maker and will support this company with more grants and debt. Nvidia and AMD dont make their own chips, the design them and TSM makes them. With geopolitics hot, USA needs a home team foundry/chip factory. Over the next 5 years, analysts believe the earning power could rise to over 4 dollars per share. In a good growing economy, after this incoming recession, a rosy multiple could put intel into a high price target especially if continued growth of AI and also if PC demand returns. A 30 to 60 multiple would put intel in the 100 to 300 range in the future. However, there is risk for next year and a half, if we go into full recession. I am going long shares as we drop and will look to sell puts to accumulate over 2 years.
