DGLY: When will it jump up?As a scalper, my whole method depends on wedges, moving averages, trolling stocks and looking at the overall picture through indexes and daily-monthly views for things to take advantage of. DGLY or Digital Ally, the premiere body cam company, has been sinking for a while since June. However there is a noticeable trend; it tends to sink in August and go up in September. I marked those jumps on the RSI channel in red circles below the main chart. Will this make a move up? No clue, its getting very close at the end of my wedge and sinking through on my 200, 300, and 400 line right now. If it sinks below and fails its back test for the resistance. Its going to drop like a rock. We will have to wait til November when earnings hit to get a good scalp shot in. If it does stay above, we have a chance of this bouncing up. However moving average lines on the daily point to this baby plummeting back to either just little above $1 or below $1. at that point might as well take and hold until earnings. Its an easy scalp stock and unfortunately calls to action to reign in some police officer's trigger happy mood swings have still not been fast or effective enough. We are going to need those body cams and maybe more.
I say wait for the dip and buy at discount or you can have a really nice short here. Or...or if you really like to play risky...buy now and put a tight stop below. You will thank me later.

$DGLY (1hr Chart) - It's not looking so good short termI've been pretty bullish on DGLY over the last few weeks and really hoped @DigitalAllyInc would capitalize on the trend with more solid news and announcements from sales or contracts. My original PT has ranged from $5 - $6.5 and I still stand behind that value. It's become evident that the management, CEO and PR team just can not with any confidence produce the appropriate buzz for this stock to survive in a low volume, low news event situation. Therefore we are left with a now very evident downtrend in the 1 hour chart. I do not see this recovering without a catalyst and as of today we are retesting new low supports of $2.80. I think we will see this possibly retest $2.50 again before leveling off.
In that, I had liquidated 90% of my shares last week and have decided to purchase more down here in the sub $2.80 ranges as it dips to increase my position. I believe with all the politics and combustible relationships between cities and their law enforcements, it is only a matter of time before we see $DGLY come back to hold a +$5 PT for a considerable amount of time. It will then be on the company and their executive team to decide if they want to be a serious company and stay there or keep playing racecar wasting good ROI capital on horrible brand placement.
10 Day (1hr Chart) Outlook on $DGLY is looking hopefullI really have been giving $DGLY Digital Ally Inc. the benefit of the doubt. But as a 14 day swing it looks like there are several confluence points here. There is a $3.40 resistance level that we keep retesting and can not break through. It looks like the 60 day support level coming of of the Jun 1st low is holding and we will start moving up. If it breaks that support level and continues to retest the $3.00 horizontal support it may be time to bail.
Any good news from the $DGLY on contracts will help to build a volume base. Without constant positive news from this company, I don't think we will hold any significant uptrend without another major News Conflict involving police. Next PR will help to determine if I keep my position or drastically reduce it at the end of the week. I'll most likely carry a 10% position through the election in November due to the likelyhood that police action / reform will continue to be a hot talking point and could trigger a solid 2 day runner again up to $5-$7. I'm keeping my long term PT for Digital Ally at $5.50 but I don't expect to stay in long enough for their management and PR teams to get their act together.
DGLY Digital Ally Inc -Body Cam Breaks Out Historical JULY 1stI keep hearing that all the HYPE is gone from DGLY Digital Ally now that the riots are loosing steam in the news. It's true, without continued news the shorts had a field day over the last 2 weeks with this stock driving price which was holding nicely around $4. To be fair, i've been in and out of this stock any time it touched $5.50 and buying sub $3.50 dips. BUT, heres why $DGLY is much more than a hyped body cam play.
1) As you see on the chart, for the last 4 years Digital Ally has seen a significant spike historically on the first week of July. This coinsides perfectly with what is happening right now in 2020.
CHECK: Here we are about to hit first week of JULY and DGLY is very vocal. Big Teleconference webinar planned for tomorrow morning.
2) Since the ferguson incident, there is no doubt that this symbol runs like crazy with pro body cam new on the back of rioting or police incidents that be come public.
CHECK: It's not off the radar that daily people are pushing for police reform federally and new stories are hitting the news cycle of racial injustice.
3) DGLY has struggled to compete with AXON over innovative tech and lawsuits. This stunted growth while AXON took off. DGLY is innovative and with a pivot could out pace AXON.
CHECK: Digital Ally as of this morning just received a massive patent approval for an innovative new camera setup that others will be chasing.
4) Infrastructure for bigger contracts. They have not announced any large contracts that are of real significants compared to their competitors. But they will.
CHECK: DGLY is a big offering last month to raise money for inventory, production and infrastructure. Being able to fill a big contract fast is critical. They also just released a shelf offering which will give them the ability to raise needed capital slowly without drastically tanking the stock price. This is good for cashflow.
5) There is a reason why larger funds are bumping their price target for Digital Ally to $5 yesterday. This patent + teleconference tomorrow + news + patent is the perfect powder keg for a big move first week in JULY. You can see the price levels here. I agree, $5 is a safe target with a very real $6.5 target. If for some reason, the police reform bill passes this week or another tragic racial news story becomes viral and inflames the protests again... you better believe this stock will see double digits again quickly.

Digital AllyDigital recording stock for enforcement sector: Aka insurance and guaranteed visual crime enforcement. Huge volume buyers noted. Play as you like.
$DGLY good for a long hold but some targets to max gains. This little gem has been fighting the good fight for 4 years now. Finally, they made it through the fire and ready to run. Tried all they could to drag out a patent war and bleed em dry, AAXN has lost every time in court to the point where NO ONE ELSE can try to dismiss their patents. 6x failed. But this little company with a 20m cap has made it through and ready for their reward.
Longterm price targets are 31.50 and 63.20.

DGLY: Tanking in EarningsDGLY is a real small time company in the audio & video equipment industry. The industry as a whole has been in turmoil suffer -30% in returns in a 6 month period. DGLY, undeservingly has been outperforming the industry. It only has 3.5 million float so it will experience severe price swings. The company has been suffering financially as total revue has slipped from 25.2 million in 2010 to just 17.4 in 2014. The company's net income of -9.1 million in 2014 is the worst in 5 years. The company released earnings after the bell today and has since dropped over 16% on last check.
CEO Stanton Ross had this to say:
"While our first quarter revenue exceeded prior-year levels by 9%, we believe the increase would have been significantly greater if certain suppliers had been able to deliver long lead time components on a timely basis," stated Stanton E. Ross, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Ally, Inc. "As a result of certain component shortages, we were restricted in the number of FirstVU HD body-worn cameras that we were able to ship in the three months ended March 31, 2015. However, we are encouraged that orders for the FirstVU HD continue to increase in response to growing recognition of the value of video evidence among law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. and abroad."
Mr. Ross says the company is encouraged by the growth in orders, but the year over year rise in inventories suggests a lack of overall demand. I expect this company to be trading in the single digits sooner rather then later. Key areas of support are 15.64, 15.00, 13.50, with 9.86 serving as the 1 year main support line.
