-- IF There is a bounce, stock will continue up-trend towards $180/s range
--Crucial that you watch that line within the next few days
FUNDEMENTALS:
- We typically only do technical here, but important to know that as of writing this the stock futures are -200pnts currently.
RIVN BearishI choose to go short for two reasons, first reason is the IPO always hype and ends falling to its correct levels.
Reason 2 is smart money is involved and they see this as an oppertunitie to make smart money simple as that.
this is a very risky trade and I dont have any education at all. Lets go!
Game Over..!Yesterday I published my analysis and mentioned we are 1-3 days away from the bubble blast!
and we see the price is -22% today!
I think it would be unrealistic to think about prices higher than 180, but moving toward 100 and below could be the more possible scenario!

That's Enough.I don't always make top predictions, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis.
I kid.
However, I have a pretty solid track record making predictions on stuff that I think looks too blow-off-y, with only two notable failures in $JKS and $AMC - too early on both. The rest of my calls you can see here:
Two takeaways looking at the fundamentals, the chart, and the insane amount of speculation going on:
If you're long, dear god please take some profits.
If you're flat and risk hungry, then it might be time to start taking some of this short. Options get listed today, and while they promise to be wildly expensive, I think they will *either* have a feedback loop to the upside or the downside in terms of gamma flows. I think, on balance, the bulk of the risk in this is now to the downside, and I would expect a price of around 100 to be touched sometime in the next 5-6 months, if not sooner.
All of this said, I think even with a short bias in this, that there is still the potential over the next day or two to see a buying crescendo where all shorts get blown out like in $BYND in 2019 -- that may be the most analogous situation, and there, patience was needed to make money on the short side. Same goes for this.
I will be shorting small every couple points on the way up from today's open onwards, until the chart looks weak. Then, potentially add heavy on the backside.
Good luck to all!
$RIVN Rivian Motors Technical Analysis $RIVN Rivian Motors
Technical Analysis
Although $RIVN has had an IPO in the past few weeks without much data to do a technical analysis, but we are already seeing patterns.
TAKE AWAY:
- Rivian Motors has broken the ATH Resistance line and it now became the support line as shown on the chart.
- The Analysis shows us the stock has massive potential of Up Trend.
- No other Technical Red Flags shown.
- In unlikely scenario the stock will bounce off the NEW support line if there is a correction.
KEEP AN EYE on a small correction to make your market move. But remember it is unlikely the stock will move lower the new support line.
ANY comments appreciated.
Rivian 5th biggest Automaker with 125 billion dollars Market CapIt may sound crazy but Rivian is 5th largest automaker in the world ..!
Above Daimler, General Motors, and Ford..!
I may know nothing about cars and Ev makers, But I know what a bubble looks like!
Rivian:125 Billion
The Illinois plant currently has an annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles and Rivian has said it intends to increase that to 200,000 by 2023 as it adds new vehicles.
Daimler: 107 Billion
is one of the world's largest conglomerate automotive groups. Mercedes-Benz Cars and Daimler Trucks units are among the world's largest Premium Car & Heavy Truck biz, respectively. Vans, Buses and Financial / Mobility Services complete the portfolio. Daimler has reorganized into three independent legal entities sitting under Daimler AG: 1) Mercedes-Benz AG (Premium Cars & Vans), 2) Daimler Truck AG (Trucks & Buses) and 3) Daimler Mobility AG (Financial Services & Mobility Services).
Mercedes-Benz Cars, Daimler's passenger car manufacturing subdivision, sold between 2.4 and 2.5 million vehicles in 2020. Daimler also produces buses and trucks.
General Motors: 91 Billion
GM is one of the world's largest automakers, with an annual volume of almost 9mm units. The company reports its operations in four segments, North America, International, GM Financial, and GM Cruise. It has made significant strides in restructuring its business since the last trough in 2009, positioning it well to deal with cycle swings and the evolving industry landscape.
Ford: 76 Billion
Ford Motor is one of the world's largest vehicle manufacturers, with over 6mm units manufactured/sold globally. In our view, the company has made significant progress executing its One Ford plan and delivering best-in-class vehicles. The company also remains committed to positioning itself well within the evolving auto industry through balanced investments across electrification, autonomy, and mobility services.
Important Trend Line!Money Makers!
Rivian has finally been launched on the NYSE. This trend line shown will be very important over the next few days, especially when we're able to use options. If it breaks below, that will be one of the first bearish signs and I'm sure there's a lot of bears waiting to take advantage. This project is currently backed by Amazon & Ford. With that being said with the pettiness between Elon and Jeff. I wouldn't be surprised if this project keep moving higher. Tesla is currently 10x Rivians price and I'm sure Jeff wants to catch up but that's just my opinion.
Love it or hate it, hit that thumbs up and share your thoughts!

Why I'm Bullish on RIVNSo the fundamentals on this stock are virtually non-existent and its still an IPO so by all means DD and DYOR.
Also I'm the last person to ask about anything financial related, all I do is code and trade and I don't have a degree in either...
That being said, I've been following this company for a while after one of the hiring managers asked me to apply to their web team.
Since then, I've been following what this company is doing from a vehicle design / engineering perspective and the other intangible things like leadership hires, strategic partnerships, etc.
I've also been following it on the 5 min and my indicator finally threw a good buy signal so I bought :-)
From a TA perspective I think it looks like we are doing a bullish consolidation and I'm optimistic of a bullish break out and continued price discovery.
Beyond TA... When you look at the "supply issues" and the problem other car manufactures are having with getting chips and the fact amazon is producing the chips www.thestreet.com it seems like a possible match made in heaven assuming investors like Bezos are capable of realizing the possible competitive advantage they have....
How Much Is Tesla Overrated?Electric car startup Rivian continues to fly sideways. Shares rose another 22% yesterday, bringing the company's capitalization to over $ 100 billion (more than Ford or General Motors). At the same time, the startup did not earn a penny, but generates losses at a rate of 1.2 billion per quarter. The world has definitely gone crazy. But since in the case of Rivian it is difficult to quantify the scale of insanity, because the company, in fact, does not even have a business model yet, let's look at the closest competitor in insanity.
Tesla in 2021 became the most expensive car company in the world and entered the top 5 largest US companies in terms of capitalization, ahead of such monsters as Facebook (Meta), Nvidia and Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett.
At the same time, Tesla produces 20 times fewer cars than Volkswagen or Toyota. And Tesla earns almost 10 times less than the same Toyota or Volkswagen.
As you can see, the difference goes by orders of magnitude. It turns out a rather strange situation when people are willing to pay 20-30 times more for a dollar of profit, income or assets of one company than for a dollar of another company. But after all, in fact, this is the same dollar.
Let's add some specifics using the analysis of special metrics - investment multipliers.
The most commonly used metric is P / E (the ratio of a company's capitalization to a company's earnings), which shows how many dollars you have to pay per dollar of a company's earnings. So for a dollar of Toyota's profit, you pay $ 9, and less than $ 8 for a dollar of Volkswagen's profit. This indicates that the relatively fair price is in the $ 8-9 range.
Now hold your breath for a second, because the P / E for Tesla is 347. Yes, not 3, and not even 34, but 347 (!). Roughly speaking, when you buy Tesla shares at current prices, you pay on average 40 (!) More than other automakers.
But profit is a volatile category and is not a reliable metric. Let's look at an alternative P / S ratio (the ratio of the company's capitalization to the company's earnings), which shows how many dollars you should pay per dollar of the company's revenue (revenue). Less than a dollar is a dollar of revenue from Toyota (0.9) and Volkswagen (0.6). A dollar of Tesla's earnings will set you back $ 34. That is, again, on average, 40 (!) More expensive than when buying shares of other automakers.
But let's say that Tesla is just reaching the peak of its financial form and the financial results are not indicative. Let's look at another metric that makes it possible to imagine the following situation: what if the company is auctioned off, how much money can we, as investors, return in the event of its liquidation?
To do this, use the P / B ratio (the ratio of the company's current market capitalization to its book value), that is, how many dollars you have to pay for each dollar of the company's assets. Anything less than 1 indicates that the company is cheap, and anything above 1 indicates its high cost. A dollar of Toyota or Volkswagen assets will cost you a little more than a dollar. That is, the companies are valued relatively fairly. But in the case of Tesla, a dollar of assets will be worth $ 44. That is, again, we have a magic number exceeding 40 times.
What is the conclusion from all this analysis? Tesla isn't just overrated - it's insanely overpriced. The company's shares are on average 40 (!) Times more expensive than competitors' shares. How to make money on this information? The answer is obvious - sell Tesla shares. Actually, this is already being done by the entire management of the company, including the head of Elon Musk, who just this week sold Tesla shares for more than $ 5 billion.
Some Thoughts About The Craziest IPO I've Seen (Rivian)Rivian is worth over $100 billion at the time of this writing. That's a lot of money.
BTW, they don't generate any revenue. Actually in their press releases they write that on any given quarter, they expect to generate $0 – $1 million in revenue. But never over $1 million. No more than $1 million.
From my research and understanding they are the first pre-revenue company to be worth $100 billion.
I get it - EVs are hot. And they are backed by Amazon and some Saudi money. Maybe they have an awesome roadmap. But my goodness, at $100B they basically need to be flawless in execution. It took Tesla some 10+ years to get to where it is and A LOT of controversy.
I have no position and don't plan on having one. It makes no sense to me. So best to stay away. Writing this down just for fun and to see what others think.
The chart I attached above is a 30-minute chart of Rivian since its IPO, which happened this week. Thanks for reading!
