Breakout w/ no tighteningNot much to say about this one other than it is not the first time it attempts to run. Preferably I would like to see a large move up in the previous month and a consolidation with a shakeout followed by tightening prior to a breakout. But we don't live in a perfect world & this account is for building a database of trades with the goal of building an edge in breakout swing trading. Just to note volume is on the lower end of what I would normally trade but it is enough. Due to this I was only able to get partially filled in the first 5 minutes of the open. Position risk if stop hit sits at 0.35% of account equity. Entry: 20.31 Stop: 19.30

DAYTRADING STOCK, Easy technical trades This has been on fire since the company's interim phase 2 results for an experimental spinal muscular atrophy drug. This price is highly speculative and a constant moving target, so it will have great amplitude throughout the day, while the volume lasts. Nice technical setup. 1 Wait for the correction 2 go and 3 repeat. The whole day long. This is a 100 trade stock minium for daytrading. Today you could have traded it with 50 and get out alive. I dont recommend swing trading on this one, cause everything rides on this "interim results" news ..

Scholar Rock - SRRK Long Opportunity This company made a really bold move and added $3 million dollars worth of shares to the supply AND selling them at 15% of what the closing price was at the time. Obviously, this resulted in a very big drop. However,vif their investment pays off, overtime, there is no reason this stock shouldn't steadily rise back to it's common price. Unless we get a REALLY bad report for there earning on 08/11. I'm gonna grab a small bag for a short/medium swing - what do you guys think?
