VRM trade ideas
Vroom, bounce opportunity 47.27% institutional ownership, backed by BlackRock, Vanguard, Invesco, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, among others.
50% below its all-time high from September last year.
Touching a support level around $35, it can hit $ 40-45 on a bounce.
The next bottom is at $30.
A triangle is closed, the break is close.
Vroom is "a New York City-based used car retailer and e-commerce company that enables consumers to buy, sell and finance cars online."
Long VRM and Short NioNIO is overprice and the whole tech sector (and especially the EV sector) is in a bubble, so I would like to short NIO.
On the other hand, what if this bubble will last many more months?
So let's long VRM (that should be able to sell used Tesla or any other EV car as well and will do well even if the whole market shifts to only EVs).
From the TA point of view, on the weekly chart (long term idea), we are in accumulation after braking the trend, and the RSI has a lot of room to grow.
From Marketcap point of view, Nio (chainees market only) is about 20 times bigger than VRM.
Tell me what do you think.
This idea is for entertament purposes only. Do your owen research.
$VRM Long - Pre-Earnings melt-up?Summer IPO that faded out and long overdue for a rebound given the rally. Retail is bored with it and HF have been accumulating, particularly some top performing ones. Earnings in early February.
Equal legs target $68 if above $30-32. Strong historical volume at these levels and declining volume/bullish consolidation over the past few months, while everything else has been rallying.
Bottom Fishing Falling wedgeVRM is not a super old stock..not as new as some on the market, but relatively new to the arena. It went down below it's IPO price and is just now getting back above it.
The Falling Wedge is a bullish pattern that begins wide at the top and contracts as prices move lower. This price action forms a cone that slopes down as the reaction highs and reaction lows converge. In contrast to symmetrical triangles, which have no definitive slope and no bias, falling wedges definitely slope down and have a bullish bias. However, this bullish bias cannot be realized until a resistance breakout occurs
As a continuation pattern, the falling wedge will still slope down, but the slope will be against the prevailing uptrend. As a reversal pattern, the falling wedge slopes down and with the prevailing trend. Regardless of the type (reversal or continuation), falling wedges are regarded as bullish patterns.
I traded this from the bottom and sold it, but am thinking about getting back in again.
Just an observation
VRM - It's Vroom Time! Leg 1 already in play.I know this space. In my opinion VRM is ready to rally. If you believe in parity Carvana should be cheaper and Vroom should be more valuable.
Related symbol of interest is SFT (Shift Technologies) I think either VRM or CVNA could end up buying shift. That said Vroom is a lot bigger and I like the stock set-up for a nice rip.
Keep your eyes on it..!Possible move: 15-108%
Reward/Risk: 1.5 12.5(R/R>3 is Ideal)
Time frame: 1-12 wks
Entry after break upward is safer
This is just my technical view, not a fundamental comment..!
I can make you confused you by a crowded messy chart, but I would rather simple effective presentations..!
