NGAS Surprising revelation. On the 30m chart, the ranging strategy returns 107% on 196 trades from Jan 2024 to May 2025. Perhaps it's overfitted to the data, but probably not the case as profitable trades are modest at 58.2%. The small edge, combined with strict entry and exit rules, rewards the player. Happy gambling. Better than a casino, for sure.
NATURALGAS double bottom with bullish divergence at 1h from the support of 4h, still on a technical downtrend at 1h but we might be near a reversal into the uptrend. ADX is also loosing bearish momentum and bulls seem to be active again). The current level of 3.50 might be a new strong support but we need confirmation. Currently price is making a top, will be comparing also the next bottom today or tomorrow to see - if we make a higher low or equal low then most likely Monday is buy the dip scenario. Not sure what the implications of Ukraine peace talks will be but it seems they're not at the highest level so the story goes on.
NGAS and im out, shorts closed now. I was hoping for a move down to 3.2 but this is close enough especially going into the weekend. Lets wait to see what next week brings. What a week! Happy weekend everyone
NATURALGAS trending vs ranging market - we need to figure this out in order to decide whether scalp or swing. Red signals are bearish rejection from VWAP and/or the 2/3 SD band and green is bullish rejection.
Yesterday it turned out to be a trending market, Every rejection happened at a peak with higher negative momentum (here it's the Dual Volume Divergence Index oscillator).
Today every rejection happened with a reverse volume momentum as indicated by the oscillator - meaning that market is ranging i.e you get bearish rejection at peaks but with strong positive momentum or bullish rejection at lows but with strong negative momentum.
So while yesterday one would make more money while scalping on the downtrend possibly with 1:2 or 1:3 RR, today it was risky business and TP/SL needed to be tighter cause market reacted furiously on either direction for the most part and only later it finally broke down.
Let's see what we have tomorrow, but we are near a psychological support near 3.50 and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it pumping. Currently as it stands the trend is bearish though. Good luck guys!
