AMWL trade ideas
AMWL over 29.16A recent IPO that seems to have bottomed following a poor reaction to earnings. A few ways to play this. Oversold, could move quickly up to the volume cluster at 28 and meet some resistance. Over past closes of 29.97 and the psych number of 30 is a more conservative entry. Or, a strong long term candidate in the telemedicine space.
$AMWL Offering Another Entry - Add-on?I'm long this name and looking to add to that. Looks like yesterday might be a turn around day. I have an alert set for $36.60, just above 10/9 high. I'll then look for a logical entry for a continued move higher. All TBD. Ideas, not investment / trading advice.
AMWL: upgrades +26% upsideAmerican Well Corp is telehealth. Today they were blasted with upgrades/coverage from 7 different firms, ranging in price target from $29-$44. I personally think that the pandemic has already created the environment for people to steadily transition from face/face interactions when it comes to routine chores.
AMWL: Buy at $32.03 Profit Target at $40.04American Well Corp aka Amwell is a virtual medicine consulting company. This helps especially during COVID where social distancing is promoted. This is a higher risk IPO base setup but is setting up very well. The first day low was not undercut. There is a 15% deep base and Sales is greater than 50% for the few quarters. Fundamental analysis below:
Quarterly Sales
Sep19: +22%
Dec19: +58%
Mar20: +60%
Jun20: +94%
Yearly EPS
2018: -0.24
2019: -0.39
The market is still in uncertain waters but more towards bullish territory. Once TVC:IXIC hits 1.5% on greater than previous day volume I would be more certain of jumping into the market. Institutional sponsorship has not been reported for this stock yet.
$AMWL an IPO worth watchingAs you can see on my chart I have a very small position in this (IPO's can have wild swings). I plan on adding on a close over $31 (it crossed $31 as I'm writing this).
$AMWL is in the tele-health space and sells software to that end. Their sales were up over 90% last quarter and are expected to continue to grow. They have yet to make a profit. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.
