CF - CF Industries Holdings, Inc.Began buying CF as it came out of its tight, coiling pattern from last week. The stock has exhibited extreme relative strength over the last couple of weeks of market turbulence. Volume patterns indicate massive institutional accumulation. Bought ~35% of max size in the morning and added ~15% of max size near the close, giving me roughly a half-sized position.
The earnings and sales growth for this company are impeccable. For its year ending 12/2021, with one quarter yet to be reported, estimates are for 185% YoY earnings growth AND estimates for next year ending 12/2022 are predicting growth of over 200%. In addition to its bottom line growth, the company is growing its top line at a fantastic clip, as well.

Two Paths for Long ContinuationEither this continues to flag out with 58 holding, or we get a nice little stop run to 56.30 which is prior resisance along with the anchored vwap from the start of this rally.
The first one is more likely and a better quality setup, as if the stock roundtrips that entire green candle then you're going to have some stuck longs that will make it more difficult to have upside momentum as they suck up all the demand.
CF Industries Holds the Breakout High and tight: That’s the pattern in fertilizer stock CF Industries.
Notice the sharp rally from the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) since the middle of September. It planted CF above the $56 level where the stock previously peaked in October 2018 and May-June 2021.
Interestingly, CF tried to test back toward that level on Monday but immediately found buyers under $59. That resulted in a higher low than the initial pullback on October 6:
The stock has also remained above its 8-day exponential moving average (EMA).
This quick dash higher was supported by analysts who like the company’s pricing power. That kind of price action, encouraged by Wall Street, may reflect a new set of investors involved in the name. That would also be consistent with the current tight price action, with few looking to sell yet.
CF may need more time to consolidate. However pullbacks may be shallow, followed by potentially more upside into yearend.
