K Daily SetupNYSE:K daily long setup:
Over the last few weeks prices have filled in the gap made on the May 6th earnings and then formed a double bottom at that support level. On Friday prices broke the top trendline and MACD has crossed positive.
Buy taking out Friday's high at 64.57
Stop Loss under double bottom at 62.41
Profit Target 72.78

Kellog's Entered a Kellog's Option position a few months back, for not a lot of money, & made massive gains today on earnings. I didn't even know today was earnings, but sold on the news. Overall still bullish on grain, as the world is expected to have a food shortage at some point, causing major pain at the grocery store. I've really been a commodities trader my whole career, even though it's not as exciting as "day trading" my proven method ALWAYS goes back to commodities for serious profits. NYSE:K
K: anyone like their cereal?K has got to be one oft the most boring stocks out there. It is positively geriatric. But it pays a 3.96% yield, an $82 fair value by Morningstar, and has a wide moat as a result of intangible assets and cost edge over competitors.
I expect the stock to break out of its short-term descending wedge by the end of spring, where it will enter the longer-term wedge indicated in the chart.
Given the long-lived lower support, I would be surprised by significant downside from here.
Dividend lovers who are sick of filing K-1s and dealing with OPEC foolery can accumulate some shares here.

Will the 20 year channel break?I have been battling with going long on Kellogs for the whole week. The chart is saying its at the bottom of a 2 year channel. Issue I see right now it this stock is a forgotten cash cow. because its forgotten does that mean in a sell off of the broad market this will break this channel? I don't know. But this channel poses very interesting buying opportunity. I will have a small position lets say 1/3 standard position size. with a stop $3 out of the channel. If the channel stays its a clear shot to around $80 Point and figure chart is extremely bearish. and has a bearish vertical count to 51.
