Stocks such as Rigetti Computing Inc., Quantum Computing Inc., D-Wave Quantum Inc., and IonQ Inc. have all seen triple-digit gains over the past six months and over the past year. The exchange-traded fund that tracks these stocks, the Defiance Quantum ETF, increased 26.29% over the past six months and 53.69% over the past year. Specifically, D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS) increased 405.22% over the past six months and 718.31% over the past year.
Since these quantum computing companies are still in their growth phase and currently have negative earnings, it is not possible to use the price-earnings ratio to estimate their valuation. However, the price-to-sales ratio, which is found by dividing a company's market capitalization by its total sales, can be used to value these companies.
According to Bloomberg data, QBTS's P/S ratio is 104.63.

Looking at the table, the company is CLEARLY BULLISH on its main timeframes. Today, it stopped right at a VERY IMPORTANT RESISTANCE level located at 11.97, which also coincided with the day's PIVOT POINT R2.
If it breaks above the 12 level, it would directly test the 13.26 level, its all-time high reached on August 8, 2022.

The biggest risks observed are:
1) Bad news that may come out about the company or its sector (quantum computing).
2) The high appreciation they have experienced over the last year.
3) That today it reached its first major resistance to overcome and could begin a pullback to attack the zone again.
--> What happens if it starts to pull back?
I've drawn the Fibonacci retracements on the chart to give us an idea of the areas the price could fall to if it were to start a pullback, but as long as it doesn't lose the 7 zone, its upward trend will remain intact.

- having closed a lot of shorts early and "missed" a lot of the move (admittedly w cash tho)... i was feeling some FOMO
- and while a lot of the market will continue to chop lower with high vol (but we're probably thru the majority of the big drawdown and in needing a bid)
- we've got the posterboi names for dumb ripping again
- honestly send it way higher. i'm content to take a ST position short (P's only!) and will only size it up
- this is a layup in this tape b/c a. if it breaks ATH... it will moon to the stratosphere but the short will be that much more obvious/ amazing and b. if fails, we probably keep attempting as long as risk is bid, but the effective "top" will be in - probably a multi-year top lol
so play accordingly. this is a trading stock, not an investment. be warned.

$QBTS moving on up NYSE:QBTS SINCE JAN 8th,2025 QBTS has been building a 1 1/2 base as you can see shorts loaded up between 7-31 and switch to bullish flow on the 1st on forward. Exciting last 2 days and we have tested the ST breakout at 7.07 and the falling resistance line set back on Dec 24th. Look for the stock to continue the breakout as it currently is sitting nice in a BULLISH CHANNEL, MFI, MACD and VOL all in the bullish direction with a major gap to FILL up to 9.14. Buckle and get on, or grab some popcorn and enjoy the RUN.........CAN ALSO SEE breakout of wedge this really could fly in the 9-12 up to $60 but trying to be conservative and focus on break 9.14 and tgt #1
Flagging and Daily Bull Case is BuildingQBTS is trying to regain its bullish daily trend. While we have had 3 consecutive days back in the green candle (bullish) territory, the momentum has not been long enjoyed by the bears. Today had the glimpse of bull traction but close wasn't the most convincing.
Nevertheless, EMA stack looks solid and daily closes are looking promising. Don't be surprised if we get that new trend pullback before the real move.
Watching this one closely. Weekly is bullish and building a base around this 6ish level.
