Waiting for SKX to roll over and fall off a cliff! Every single day this past week was a shooting star. And going down. Which made the week chart look like a spinning top. If you look at all the indicators it’s also very bearish as well. Now I’m just sitting here like biggie. Saying “gimme the loot!”
Also there is a trend line you can place on the 1 day chart and its following that very well. Looking for it to fill the gap down below. Or at least hit the moving averages.
I also trade options so this is a good puts play.

SKX trade ideas
Skechers USA: Is Santa Coming to Town?Skechers USA has consolidated since the summer, but some traders may expect a rally this holiday-shopping season.
The first pattern on today’s chart is the August 2 close of $59.45. SKX bounced near that level in September, October, and again last month. Is new support in place?
Second, you have the series of lower highs since September. SKX ended last week near that trendline. Traders now may watch for signs of a potential breakout through that resistance.
Third, prices are near the 50- and 200-day simple moving averages. That could indicate the intermediate and long-term trends are neutral, which may open the door for a new trend to begin.
Finally, MACD has turned positive.

4/25/24 - $skx - sb positive but dip buy only - vrockstar4/25/24 - vrockstar - 2x sales, scaling on the opex line and 5 days to cover keeps me from wanting to short this esp after last quarter's result. but the setup looks more +ve than -ve here. the second order problem is a miss sense this into the abyss that's hard to dip buy and you're best to take losses - i don't like that sort of setup. so plan here is to chase a high quality print higher. will take funds a few days to reload and we can front run that post market. not convincing to play the volatile print. if i did consider a long - i'd cover ITM c's.
SKX - Cup & HandleSKX has trended above it's 200 day moving average since 11 Nov 2022 and began to consolidate in a mini cup pattern ("handle" if we look at the monthly timeframe) for the last 3 months. It has just broken above this mini cup neckline @ 49 strongly after earnings beat and is now heading towards a more significant neckline (54 - 56 zone). If it is able to break and stay above this major neckline, then there is room to go higher as it begin a new up trend.
Ideally we would like to see a minor pullback shortly after the breakup to retest and affirm that the neckline has become the new support. However this may or may not happen and we should manage the trade with trailing stops (usually placed at near term pivot lows, gap fill or some fib levels).

Check out the Pullback in Skechers Footwear company Skechers USA has emerged as an interesting growth stock over the last decade. Now it may be completing the final pullback in a six-year consolidation period.
First consider the longer-term weekly chart. Notice the 600+ percent rally between July 2013 and July 2015. SKX has essentially digested that move since.
However now it’s pulled back to hold an important long-term level around $44.50 from late 2019 and early 2020. Traders could be watching to see if old resistance becomes new support:
Third, on the main daily chart, notice how the 200-day simple moving average (SMA) has risen to that same potential support zone at the old high.
Next, stochastics have dipped to a deeply oversold condition.
Finally you have bullish gaps on April 23 and July 23, which followed strong earnings reports. Now with the holidays approaching, sentiment may swing back in favor of SKX.

SKX - Failed Trade(1) - Trade JournalThis will be the beginning series of my failed trades that will act as my trading journal. Will be posting these to learn from my mistakes. Failed trade #1 SKX:
Mistakes made:
1. Failed to recognize resistance zone and take profits at that zone.
- Make sure to expand your chart so you can see the stock from the BEGINNING. Set chart to monthly/weekly time frame if needed. I missed a resistance back that was present back in 2016.I was stuck on the short term time frame on the 30m chart, failing to recognize a vital resistance point to take profits and/or exit trade.
2. Poor options structure.
- Went with single call options on this one, I should’ve entered in as a credit spreads/short puts as this stock will move up, but gradually. Next time enter slow moving trends as a credit/debit spread to protect against corrective moves.
3. Failed to continue monitoring trade after the belief that I was good after a triangle break
- After that last candle on the triangle break, I stopped watching my trade for 2hrs or so while I was at work thinking that price would go higher, next time monitor big position trades closesly. No longer than 30m w/o checking.
Overall: I was up around 600 on this trade and then had to cut losses at the break below the support. I made too many mistakes here that are sending my acc lower and breaking down my mental morale. I need to start laddering my trades and drawing any possible resistance, getting rid of a portion of my contracts at those levels with the size of that portion based off of the strength of the resistance. Ex. Weak resistance 1/4 of contracts, strong resistance 1/2. I also need to focus on bettering my options structure, adding protective options legs to each contract rather than buying straight calls.
Sketchers I got in a $38 put Friday. I feel like price will drop. Details are in photo.
I feel like there are many other affordable options out there for the workforce and more to come. Let's see how it works out.
Like, Follow, Agree, Disagree!
What do you think?
* I'm staying in my position regardless. I got into this for the same reason I entered WISH a few weeks ago and hopped out due to lack of confidence. Now wish dropped $4 or more dollars since I've been out....
PAY to SKECHERS USA DailyHey guys, SKECHERS USA is in a fake downtrend with a bear wick and a strong past sell volume. We observe the TIMEFRAME 1 Min a bull line so all the conditions are met to see the feedback from buyers. It is plausible to go for the next high watch the TIMEFRAME 4H. Then the Daily after is the buyers goal which is on the last previous high in 4H.
