ICEAIR fundamentals

Icelandair Group hf engages in the provision of airline and tourism services. It operates through the following segments: International Flight Operations, Aviation Investments and Tourism Investments. The International Flight Operations segment focuses on the hub-and-spoke concept between Europe and North America via Iceland. The Aviation Investments segment includes Loftleidir Icelandic, Air Iceland Connect, and VITA, which are the leasing arm of the group, domestic airline, and an outgoing tour operator, respectively. The Tourism Investments segment offers hotels and operates incoming tour through Icelandair Hotels and Iceland Travel subsidiaries. The company was founded on June 3, 1937 and is headquartered in Reykjavík, Iceland.
