WAIT BEFORE YOU BUY VOLVOHere on Volvo, we have a long position entry, however, since the price now is stuck in a strong liquidity zone that it pulled back on for multiple times, we won't risk and enter, unless the price broke through it to make our entry the pullback on the price. VOLVO BULLISH CONTINUATION Volvo Cars, based in Sweden, has announced a remarkable 21% increase in car sales for the month of July compared to the previous year. The company managed to sell 54,165 vehicles during this period, marking the 11th consecutive month of continuous year-over-year growth. Taking a broader look at the year so far, Volvo has demonstrated impressive performance in 2023. In the initial seven months of the year, the company achieved a global car sales figure of 395,856 units. This substantial number reflects an impressive 18% growth when compared to the same timeframe in 2022. This growth can largely be attributed to the surging demand for their fully electric and plug-in hybrid models, which have captured the interest of consumers. Is Volvo gonna keep moving?ticker: VLVLY Target: 25.90 It would seem VLVLY broke out of a falling wedge pattern on the monthly with decent volume behind the move up. I did measure the move based on the move from the previous run, as a sort of bull flag. MACD looks like it's crossing bullish. Volvo has a decent history of beating earnings estimates, very good play for growth, in my opinion, also they pay to hold with a decent dividend. I personally will play VLVLY as a long position, dollar cost averaging in a few shares at a time. **This is not financial advise, I am not a financial advisor**Longby RawZMoeTow3

Volvo_B ; 10th Nov 2019Last two trading days VOLVO_B had some profit-taking from 155.15 critical swing zone. But the market already breaks out the descending channel from 2018. So there is another good chance to up technically to 155.15 zones again, till it breaks below 144.40 critical support zone. Market closing rate 150.55 and it is still above the descending channel level. As December is a profit-taking zone, the rest of the month still has a chance to go up. However, if we see the OMX_30 charts, here is something to be anxious about. OMX_30 has reached to its swing zone. It may dampen Volvo b’s rising strength. In this situation we will wait for a bullish pin bar or any kind of reversal patterns. If we see that, we may long to 155.15 again. If 155.15 breaks above our next target level is 160.00 and till December our final target level is 163.50. On the other hand, if OMX_300 drops from its swing level. We will wait to break our rinsing channel. If Volvo b stable below the rising channel our first target is 145.19 to 144.40. if 144.40 breaks and stable our initial target is 138.25 price zone. And finally, the target is 131.15 and will wait for reverse. www. forexpundit . comLongby ForexPundit3

Everyday 0003 _ MAC PullbackI recently posted a Moving Averge Crossover strategy for my Everyday project - a project I've given myself where I try to create one strategy everyday in between 15 minutes and 2 hours. In the comments of my last published idea, user SignalTradersUK was very kind and suggested I try the following in my next study: "i think your next study should be, to workout what to do after the Moving Average cross! If you look just on the chart you have posted, Price would appear to always come back to the levels where the 2 MA's cross and then go back in the direction of the crossing of the MA's. It's a great pull back strategy." I'm really just beginning to learn about coding strategies so I'm not 100% sure I correctly understood his suggestion. I admit I had difficulties wrapping my head around how to do this. Any way, the result is a strategy which runs alongside the main Moving Average Crossover. 'The Algorithm' When the fast and slow MA cross the strategy traces back 40 days to find a swing low. This swing low and the price at the MA cross is used to calculate a fib 1.272 extension. The price at this 1.272 extension is used to place a Pullback short order. Since we're shorting a bull trend, a tight stop is used. If the pullback reaches down to the fib 0.618 we take profit (close the short). Like I said, I don't know if I correctly understood SignalTradersUK feedback, but I really appreciate the feedback and advice! As always I'm hoping to learn from the community, so all feedback, corrections and advice is very welcome! Thanks! /pbergdenby pbergden5
EVERYDAY 0002 _ MAC 1st Trading Hour WalkoverThis is the second strategy for my Everyday project. Like I wrote the last time - my goal is to create a new strategy everyday for the rest of 2016 and post it here on TradingView. I'm a complete beginner so this is my way of learning about coding strategies. I'll give myself between 15 minutes and 2 hours to complete each creation. This is basically a repetition of the first strategy I wrote - a Moving Average Crossover, but I added a tiny thing. I read that "Statistics have proven that the daily high or low is established within the first hour of trading on more than 70% of the time." (source: ) My first Moving Average Crossover strategy, tested on VOLVB daily, got stoped out by the volatility and because of this missed one nice bull run and a very nice bear run. So I added this single line: if time("60", "1000-1600") regarding when to take exits: if time("60", "1000-1600") strategy.exit("Close Long", "Long", profit=2000, loss=500) strategy.exit("Close Short", "Short", profit=2000, loss=500) Sweden is UTC+2 so I guess UTC 1000 equals 12.00 in Stockholm. Not sure if this is correct, actually. Anyway, I hope this means the strategy will only take exits based on price action which occur in the afternoon, when there is a higher probability of a lower volatility. When I ran the new modified strategy on the same VOLVB daily it didn't get stoped out so easily. On the other hand I'll have to test this on various stocks. Reading and learning about how to properly test strategies is on my todo list - all tips on youtube videos or blogs to read on this topic is very welcome! Like I said the last time, I'm posting these strategies hoping to learn from the community - so any feedback, advice, or corrections is very much welcome and appreciated! /pbergden by pbergden554
Everyday 0001 Moving Average CrossoverThis is the first strategy for my, first ever, Everyday project. During the rest of 2016 I plan to create a new strategy everyday and post it here on TradingView. I'll give myself between 15 minutes and 2 hours to complete each creation. I got the idea from artist Beeple who has been doing one visual art creation everyday, for the last 10 years. If the idea sounds interesting, please check out Beeple (just google that name). Anyway, my goal is to improve my knowledge of Pine Script, become a faster strategy coder, and experiment with different strategic trading ideas. I'm new to strategies and algorithmic trading so I hope that no-one will be offended by me publishing these very apprentice level creations. I'm doing this with the hopes of learning from the community - so any feedback, advice, or corrections is very much welcome and appreciated! /pbergden by pbergden4
