NAS trade ideas
Norwegian air shuttle (NAS) - Bull move
Trade update.
Target is refined and around 52 (52.14) is looking to be a probable target for a reversal. Let's see what happens.
Just did some EW calculations just for fun. Looks like an ending diagonal within an ending diagonal.
I would still advise buying the breakout and not the low.
The breakout is also refined and I would wait for a break of at least 70 or 80 and not 60.
Why? The chance of being in a large corrective 4 according to the teachings of EW is too dangerous.
Sometimes we have to give up some gains just to be more sure of the move and not risking getting dumped on.
Let's go champ!!
Norwegian air shuttle (NAS) - Bull moveNAS is performing to a T. Such a beautiful chart.
1. EW rules align perfectly
2. Price action rules align perfectly
3.Fibonacci align perfectly
I'm expecting this stock to explode with a vengeance.
However, we should first expect a lower low. Ideally to around 49-45.
Once again I don't recommend buying the dip. It's to greedy and you will risk too much if the pattern ends up being wrong.
Don't be stupid, wait for the confirmation.
Rather I would wait and enjoy the mathematics play out.
Buy the clean break above 60 (only AFTER) solidifying a lower low. See Red line.
If the head and shoulders pattern is correct (I KNOW, not the cleanest one!!) This will go to 125.
However, I would just play it safe and take some profit at the next big resistance, maybe 110 (+85%) and move on to hunt another victim.

Norwegian Air shuttle's potential - stock price down 99.72%Hello you all
As you know Norwegian Air Shuttle is a company which is heavely affected by the actual pandemic.
So why could the stock have a huge potential in the near/medium term future?
- Chinese government invested via BOC Aviation into Norwegian
- cash burn reduced to <300 million NOK per month
- current stock price 99.72% under all time high
Norwegian announced at the beginning of the pandemic, that there will be a liquidity risk from Q4 2020/Q1 2021. Norwegian is currently talking with the Norwegian government for another bailout. If that will be accepted, it could give the company money for another six month's or so, which means, that a bankruptcy is unlikely during that period of time. Chances of a higher stock price stands pretty good.
In my opinion it makes totally sence that the stock price went down heavely during this time. But 99.72% of all time highs?
Nevertheless, be careful, the company has a possibility to go bankrupt. Could go to zero.
Norwgian Air Shuttle (NAS)"The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets."
- Baron Rothschild
So if you are looking for said blood the Norwegian Air shuttle (NAS) might be worth a serious look.
Background:
Biggest airline company in Scandinavia. One of the biggest in the world (I believe Top 6).
It's based in Norway. Norway is a rich country. "Oil rich".
Like many other airline companies the company is suffering massive losses.
The state of Norway has already helped the company out a lot.
Pros:
As just mentioned Norway is rich, and I believe that the state will do everything in it's power to rescue the company. I believe the company will keep asking for more help until things get back to normal in 2022/2023.
Cons:
It's still a falling knife. Never catch a falling knife.
The company has been suffering pre-COVID-19 too.
The company has never been through this big a crisis. It could end up in bankrupcy this time. Know this if investing.
Technical analysis:
To hell with technical analysis at this point. All support has been broken.
I love TD sequentials though. Looking at the daily the TD countdown of 13 was reached monday and next monday could give us another 9 sell on the TD setup.
Be careful. Cheers
SHORT: NWARF full of debt and headed into bankruptcyNorwegian Air has burned through all its bailout money and is now headed into bankruptcy by Q1 2021.
The execs are just going through the motions to provide themselves with exit payments before filing for bankruptcy in early 2021.
NAS stock has no future as the company is up to its eyeballs in debt and a second wave of virus is on its way.
A sad goodbye to a quality budget carrier. Sell why you still can.....
DAL and other stronger airlines are starting to head up while Norwegian Air is headed down to 0.6 and then zero in Q1 2021.
They have far too much debt now and are looking for more loans to stay afloat through Christmas.
Only the foolish will loan them more money with a 2nd wave of the virus on its way.
Bail why you can....
SHORT: Headed for bankruptcy....Norwegian Air senior execs are now desperately pleading for additional funding to make it through the winter. Its not looking good. Sounds very much like the last gasps for air before bankruptcy proceedings start.
Competitor SAS has been bailed out by Denmark and Sweden, but Norwegian Air has already burned through its bailout from Norway.
All the healthier airline stocks have been going up lately: Delta, EasyJet..... but NAS is still headed down and will have to be diluted further in the unlikely event it racks up even more debt.
I have sold off all my holdings to save what's left before the stock plummets to zero end of this year or early 2021.
MarketScreener has this stock a buy at 0.6, down another 40%......
Sad to see Norwegian Air head into bankruptcy yet again......I have enjoyed their quality budget flights.
POLITICAL HELP? VOLUME COULDN'T HELP! - NAS - DAILYDespite the huge volumes, we have observed forces pushing the market down. Here the technical analysis is just a confirmation of what obviously happen in the real world, no bias.
The market has responded to the volumes multiple pushes with clear candle sticks announcing that the probability to see the price going down is very high and won't stop yet.
The positive side, is that if there is any political action to save the company, then, we could see the market first trying to fill the past gape and run very quickly, thereafter, to the range that it has left at the beginning of the year, around the end of February.
For the moment, it looks like a probable worse case scenario...wind up, bankruptcy...or other.
September will be a very important month in Europe as all holidays end and political decisions might be taken in regard of the extension of restrictions or their ease.
One word: LongExpect a bounce within the next few months. Obviously it's different types of penny stock that actually have an upside future. It's too cheap not to pay attention to it. In my opinion / according to my research, it's a Buy.

Norwegian airlines, Company evaluation and long-entry strategy ABOUT
- Low cost airline company that offer nice and comfortable, cheap flights to (especially) Europe and Worldwide destinations.
- Adapting Bitcoin as accepted payment from August.
MANAGEMENT
- One of two major airlines in Norway.
- Been taking a substantial beating during the Coronavirus crisis, risking bankruptcy.
- Change of management last year. Previous management took a lot of irresponsible
expansion risks. Current management is more responsible and have a lot of experience.
Continuous restructuring since takeover.
- Company saved through converting bonds recently, lowering the debt/equity ratio
although the ratio is still high. Converting-action had the company meet loan requirements
set out by the Norwegian government. Now set to survive and hopefully thrive as boarders open.
BALANCE SHEET
- Total Assets - Total Debt = 20.965 B
- Market Cap = 11.542 B
- Price to Book ratio = 0.1535 (in comparison - other airlines: SAS = 1.0348, LHA = 0.4604, UAL = 0.6294, DAL = 1.0739)
- Price to Sales ratio = 0.118 (in comparison - other airlines: SAS = 0.0919, LHA = 0.1276, UAL = 0.1736, DAL = 0.3565)
- Debt to Equity ratio = 14.8798 (in comparison - other airlines: SAS = - 24.6038 LHA = 0.9780 UAL = 2.4877 DAL = 1.6054)
- NOTE: Total debt of approximately 10.0 B has been converted from bond debt to stock shares and is reflected in the Market Cap
noted above, however it is not reflected in the Total Debt since the conversion will not be visible until the 2020 Annual Report.
RISK FACTORS
- Bankruptcy a lot less likely, but may still be possible if the crisis stretches out for a while.
- Total Assets value probably does not reflect actual value if many airlines go bankrupt at the same time since demand for
assets will fall, especially if travel restrictions continue.
- Price is volatile with a one year beta of 2.0667.
- Company is highly leveraged which obviously makes this investment risky, but this will likely be reflected in the profits.
Norwegian Airlines reached its all-time-high back in 2015 with a price of NOK 220 which means that the current value represent
a shave-off of 98.4 % since then.
- Human psychology of Norwegian small scale (private) investors represent a significant contribution to price fluctuations.
VOLUME
- Recent PUMP-UP in volume on the daily (idea post) and the monthly chart (below) signals a massive ramp up by institutional investors.
As you can see, the monthly volume is HUGE in the context of volume history since the start in 2004. We have never seen such wild
volume. CAUTION: wait and see if this is a PUMP-UP-SIGNAL or a WARNING-SIGNAL.
Monthly volume:
TRADING STRATEGY
- The price has been falling on this volume, although not significantly. In comparison, the price fell by approximately 88.1 %
due to the coronavirus crash.
- Wait and see what happens with daily, weekly and perhaps monthly indicators. If parabolic SAR dots start supporting an upwards trend
and we see a shift in configuration of the Exponential Moving Average ribbon, it will be a good time to get into a long position and we can
consider the recent volume pump up to reflect a charge signal.
- Get out if SAR and EMA-ribbon switch direction in momentum, also pay attention to the resistance- and fibonacci-levels.

Possible Echo Pattern: Descending Broadening Wedge
Today's Note:
As requested and promised. My forecast on Norwegian Air shuttle. It's looking pretty bad. However when I use my style of TA on this chart and if this region is a bottom then this might rise again. Although this has to happen soon. Hopefully Europe comes to it senses also very soon. Nevertheless as you can see, you can trade with small risk. There is a chance you can loose money on this one of course. Not financial advice. But with just a small trade you can make a big profit, If this stock does recover! To be honest, that's a big if though.
Might be strange but EMI 2 is showing volume entering the space and showing more bullish signs. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.
To be concluded...
