MCOT Public Co., Ltd. is engaged in mass media businesses. It operates through the following segments: Television Services; Radio Services; Thai News Agency; New Media Business; and Subsidiaries and Business under joint operation agreement. The Television Business segment operates its television business under the analog broadcast system, which is the primary broadcasting technology since the first launch of television business in Thailand. The Radio Business segment manages the entire structure of radio business, including production, marketing and management. The Thai News Agency segment handles the company's center for production, collection, storage and dissemination of neutral, accurate, reliable and timely news and information based on professional standards. The New Media Business segment offers Satellite TV services in C band / True Visions and Ku band. The Subsidiaries and businesses under joint operation agreement segment manages the subsidiaries of the company. The company was founded on March 25, 1977 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
