Since the fund is actively managed, allocation and maturity is at the discretion of the manager who uses a systematic value-added strategy to distribute the fund’s assets across a variety of sectors, credit quality and yield. To help preserve the capital, the fund may also hold high-yield fixed income securities and invest no more than 30% in foreign securities. The fund is designed for investors with a low risk appetite who are seeking steady and high cash flow from a diversified portfolio delivering efficient exposure to the potential of Canadian corporate debt obligations.
