HDIV is a fund-of-funds that makes a leveraged bullish bet on the Solactive MultiSector Covered Call ETFs Index, an equal-weighted index of seven North American covered call ETFs selected across multiple sectors. Eligible ETFs must: 1) be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), 2) be an equity fund with covered call options overlay, 3) be denominated in CAD, and 4) must have a trading price record at least 365 days prior to selection date. Additionally, the funds must be classified under one of the following sectors/industries: Banks, Utilities, IT, Insurance, Gold Miners, Energy, Health Care, or Broad Market. The underlying index rebalances semi-annually. As a geared product with daily resets, HDIV is designed as a short-term trading tool and not a long-term investment vehicle. Long-term returns could materially differ from those of the underlying index due to daily compounding.
