The fund focuses on the global real estate sector it aims for stable monthly cash distributions as well as outperformance of the index on a total return basis. In order to meet its investment objectives, the fund employs a mixed strategy of indexing and active management. As such, its portfolio is comprised of at least 30% (and up to 80%) of companies that comprise the index, the rest is determined by the fund adviser based on its long-term outlook for the real estate sector.
