The fund aims to provide long-term capital growth while following a sustainable approach to investing. It invests in large- and mid-cap Canadian companies, but may also invest in the following: (i) treasury bills, short-term notes and other money market instruments, (ii) small capitalization companies, (iii) convertible securities (including rights, warrants and subscription receipts), (iv) income trusts (including royalty trusts and REITs), and (v) publicly-listed Canadian limited partnerships. In constructing its portfolio, the fund adviser applies a fundamental bottom-up investment process to assess the quality, capital allocation ability and long-term sustainability of a business. ESG analysis is also considered, which is aligned with the UNs Sustainable Development Goals. The fund will not exceed 10% of its investments in foreign securities.
