The fund is passively managed to provide broad exposure to the Canadian investment-grade bond market. The index includes government, supranational, and corporate bonds that are denominated in CAD. Eligible bonds must be rated at least BBB- and should have a minimum amount outstanding of CAD 150 million. The index only includes bonds with at least one year remaining to maturity. The resulting portfolio is weighted by market value.
