The fund is an actively managed fund that seeks stable monthly distributions, capital appreciation, and reduced volatility by investing in a concentrated portfolio of 15 to 20 North American-listed, large-cap technology companies that exhibit both value and growth characteristics. Companies that meet the funds market-cap criteria are further evaluated based on the following metrics: growth, value, profitability, liquidity and balance sheet strength. In addition, the fund may invest up to 25% in other tech-related firms or tech companies listed in non-North American securities exchanges. Call options are then written at the fund managers discretion in order to generate additional returns and to achieve lower overall portfolio volatility. The fund is an unhedged version of TLF that trades in USD.
