The fund is passively managed to provide exposure to short-term investment-grade corporate bonds issued in Canada and denominated in CAD. It will also include maples or bonds issued in the Canadian domestic market by foreign issuers or affiliates of foreign issuers. Bonds should have a term to maturity remaining of between one and five years. The fund uses a sampling method in tracking the index, which means it will invest in a sample of securities that collectively have an investment profile similar to the underlying index.
