gann box with a trend fibtrend fib applied starting from 18/09/17 take the gann box for the horizontal scale use the top of the trend fib. for the vertical scale use the significant high and lows. from price 0.5 to time 0.5 make 45 degree angle. and lock the chart scale. draw your trend line which is 17 degree. and the cycle after that (with the same method of applying gann box) ends up having a degree of 52... 52-45=7 price top might be also 17TRY for this cycle. time forecast might be 1771 days 17*17=289 weeks 07/07/2022

USDTRY Short Setup for 2022Hello. After succesfully predicting the Lira Crash this year (see related Idea below) i present to you my USDTRY short setup. Note: When "Knife catching" i got to be REALLY conservative with my targets, especially with using leverage. This is the absolute worst case for Lira. I give this a 40% propability to actually reaching this target. If you are Turkish and looking to buy back real Lira i dont advice going for this target but to buy back lira in steps from here. This setup is more targeted for leveraged trading. DYOR. Lira is loosing value exponentially on a multi year time frame. For Context how i came up with this targets (red line and green curve) see picture below. Theoretically Lira could also break out of the exponential down Trend but likely not if Erdogan is still President. Exponentiall Lira Support should be arround my Short Zone but as i said, this short target is pretty Conservative as its targeted to leverage trading. Just a thought... A bit more upside on USDTRY then bearishAssuming the latest historical top as a Cycle Wave 3, we could assume we are in a Cycle Wave 4 now. The first impulsive downtrend after this top makes me believe it was a Wave A of a ZigZag. If this is true, we should be in a Wave B (of Zig Zag) now. Zooming in from the daily timeframe, we can count 3 waves up and a triangle currently unfolding (this triangle would be Wave 4 of Wave C within Zig Zag's Wave B). So, my theory would be that once triangle can be considered complete (when prices break 14.76 resistance, or Triangle's Wave D), Wave 5 of Wave C within Zig Zag's Wave B would be unfolding (I'd expect this final Wave 5 to be reaching ~15.20). Then we should see the start of Zig Zag's Wave C, taking the price down (below 10?). We'll see... I'll await price action confirmation before taking any trade... Happy pip hunting! *Not financial advice - just a thought purely based on technical analysis observations.
