AMC To end March just shy of $6Looking at the rising tops & bottoms, and also seeing the news of Amazon considering buying AMC (again) as well as the most recent $3MM buy, somebody knows something and is willing to put some money on it. I'll help sell them their calls as high up as they're willing to go. MacD is overextended, and the end of the week is quickly approaching. There's also a historical level of resistance against the 5.50 line, which tends to make it hard to get past.

AMC bounce. looking to retest shorting lines 4.47 and 5.52$AMC this baby hasn't had this kind of volume since last summer. spring is here. recession is here. potential squeezer. Market is very volatile right now. If the QQQ is up, this is a favorable trade in my option. If it is not, this trade remains a short for me. QQQ has a lot of room to go down right now march 3/23 at night. AMC - Options Strategy 🧐AMC is a buy in this area as it has fallen back into the Golden Window 0.618 - 0.786 retracement on stock split news. So you can simply buy the stock however if you would like to know how to buy AMC below the current market low, here's how you can do it - by selling puts. Please note selling puts is a bullish strategy. Here is our work for today: (I have changed the image and it does not show Delta but instead "Probability Of Profit." "AMC I have started selling Jan 2024 LEAP puts as AMC has tumbled on stock split news, back into the Golden Window sub 0.618 retracement. This tumble will have slightly increased IV Implied Volatility which is good for selling options that benefit from IV contraction which will occur when the trend cools off. Note I only sell options with Delta equal or lower than -0.3. Preferably in the -0.2 to -0.3 range. This is a decimal for chance of landing In The Money. If you look on the image - I have sold the $5 and $8 strike. The highlighted $5 strike has a Delta of $0.21 and so this means it has a 21% chance of landing In The Money above $5 minus the premium according to the Black and Scholes pricing engine. And so lets say I sold the put where the "mid" of the spread is now for $2.85 (you can only trade in $0.05 increments). I have selected that buy at the top and you can see it shows the buyer's Break Even is $2.15 And so there is 21% chance of the buyer hitting break even @ $2.15 That is also my break even. Anywhere above that and i'm making profit. If at Jan 2024 expiry AMC is anywhere above $5 I win the total premium of $2.85 per share and so because an option contract is for 100 shares; I win $285 per option contract. This method is a good way to balance the risk in my portfolio. AMC is a solid stock, probably won't go bankrupt and buying deep in the Golden Window there is very little risk that I can lose money. If it is put to me I can simply hold the stock until in profit. if it expires below $2.15 then I will own 100 shares of AMC for $2.15 each. And that is how I can buy below the current market low 🧐. AMC and APE CONVERSION - Long APE, short AMCOn March 13, AMC and APE shareholders will vote to convert APE into AMC stock and will reverse split the stock 10/1. AMC has stacked the vote in favor of APE so the outcome is guaranteed. But what will be the price of the combined stock after the conversion? There are roughly 500M AMC shares, and will be close to 1000M APE shares at time of conversion. A total of 1.5 Billion shares, or about 3x the current number of AMC shares. APE currently trades at about 1/2 the price of AMC. ($2.40-$2.60 APE/ $4.50-5.50 AMC) AMC March 17 put options currently are pricing AMC at around $2.50 after conversion. I believe the correct equation for calculating the post-conversion share price of AMC is to multiply APE by 2 (because there are twice as many APE shares as AMC shares), and add it to the share price of AMC. Then take the combined total and divide by 3 because there will be 3x the current number of AMC shares after conversion. If conversion were to happen today, the combined share price would be $3.35. I think it could be anywhere from $2 to $4 when it happens. Of course the reverse stock split will cause the price to be 10X that, so we’ll see it $20-$40. AMC has been doing lots of funky math games with their stock in order to try to get the meme thing going again, so they can sell more shares and buy down debt to stave off foreclosure. Their debt service has been more than their income. You have to hand it to them for creativity, but will it work? Once conversion and reverse split happens, there will be 150 million shares at maybe $30/ share. AMC is planning on selling another 350 million shares, which will bring the price back down to $10 per share. If you are an AMC HODLer, that means less than $1 per share before reverse split. Current strategy involves holding APE until conversion, while selling AMC calls. Shorting the stock has become too expensive for me, as hard-to-borrow interest fees are over 100%. I am also selling AMC puts, as I think the puts are priced overly-aggressive. Price could end up at $2.40/$24 on March 17, but I am hoping it will be $3.30/$33 or greater. AMC will move down 2x as much as APE rises, and they will be same price after conversion. There is a $3 difference in price with AMC/APE, so APE will rise $1, AMC will go down $2. Let’s see how this plays out in the next few weeks.
