INTC anyone have earnings predictions?
INTC Am I crazy for pulling money from BABA and buying Intel? I believe that if China successfully develops AI apps without relying on the latest NVDA chips and proves that less advanced chips can still do the job, Intel stands to benefit the most. The stock price seems to be already pivoting, and that’s one of the main reasons I’ve started investing in Intel.
NVDA If 8-bit and classification AI acceleration help bring AI to consumer and edge computing, it’s not a threat. It’s actually expanding the market for NVDA and the chip industry. Just like when China introduced budget smartphones, they made devices more affordable but never replaced high-end flagship models because the demand and use cases were completely different.Deepseek and similar lower-spec solutions won’t impact enterprise AI chip demand. Companies aren’t reducing their AI ambitions just because a cost-effective alternative exists. These solutions don’t meet the performance requirements for high-end AI workloads. If anything, they add another layer to the AI ecosystem, driving competition and accelerating innovation. At the same time, wider AI adoption will only increase overall demand for GPUs and chips. Thinking Deepseek will slow down the AI chip market is like believing budget smartphones would make high-end tech obsolete. That’s just not how it works.

INTC holding up despite the rest of the market fwiw.INTC finding support in the 20.67 and 21.08 range currently. Could go a bit lower but overall looking for consolidation here ahead of earnings.
