VTRS for Investment $53?This is an example of what keeps me slinging my pendulum because it was rather mind blowing at the time. I saw a few videos of how these daytraders like to watch premarket tickers, so I decided to let my pendulum pick from a couple lists on 12/13 and see what happens. I pulled up a website on my ipad of "most active" and asked which we should pay attention to. It went to VTRS. Ok, fine. I'm not familiar with it and that's good. Then, I go to another list, but this time with the "most trending" for the morning. There were multiple pages so I let my dowsing choose which page has the stock for us. Out of seven pages, it chooses page 7. The list is short, but I don't look at what the tickers are, I just spin my iPad to let it choose one and it found VTRS again!! It's funny as long as I've been doing this it can still surprise me. I just have to open my mind to new ideas & not limit things. We are really more powerful than we are taught! Information is available to us. It's not always perfect (or correctly interpreted), but maybe the stars aligned in that moment to make a winner, idk. Regardless, this is up over 17% in that short time. I sim bought some long dated calls that are up well over 100%. I ask what is the most capital efficient target for this and get 53. It may take 14 months, and there's possibly an important date for it on July 26th. I do get the "legacy" option for this stock, which means hold it forever or way long term. I probably should see what they do! LOL I also should probably do this much more often!

VTRS - Potential U-MLH breakout to the CenterlineThe Orange down sloping Fork did it's job very good so far. Even the (yellow) sliding parallels gave us good information how wide the shift is. And we even got some confirmation from the divergence Now VTRS is nagging at the U-MLH. Also nice to see how this stock is stair stepping towards the Center line (orange lines). Is it too late to jump in? In my trading it's never too late, if I have a good risk/reward. However, we must be aware that the "Last Sellers Zone" is right in our way. Are the sellers still sitting there? Let's see if the U-MLH will break out, smack the sellers and rockets to the Center line.

Gap FillEarnings gapped the stock up and it turned right back around quickly. My portfolio is filled almost exclusively with long and neutral positions so it was nice to find a good short position to add but the problem is that I have already allocated all of my funds in other positions. With a small account I take a few extra risk to increase it more rapidly; one of these risks is that I allocate almost 100% of my account balance to active trades. If the markets decide to blow up my account then I am very vulnerable. I try to mitigate this risk by having a somewhat diverse array of long, short and neutral position on at all times but I haven't seen any short position that I really liked so this is a nice find for that reason. This is just a 1 dollar gap so I wouldn't gain much from my typical deep in the money debit spread unless I thought it was going to fall much lower than my bottom trendline. So the way that I am going to set this trade up is to set up a in the money credit spread. If if it falls through the bottom trend line I make make profit, if it falls between the two lines I make money as long as its above my break even point, but the risk here is that if it doesn't drop in price enough to fall in the zone then all is lost; I'm good with that since I have defined my risk from the beginning of the trade with, in my opinion, is a kin to setting a stop loss in trades like this where the loss isn't much greater then the max profit.
