If you have been following my trades you will know that at the beginning of the year i took 5 losing trades in a row on the EURJPY pair. I have now won 2 cyphers (not very profitable ones) but it has now set up for a potential gartley as well. It just goes to show that you must stick to your plan through the hard times and understand that each individual trade...
I cant particpate in this gartley because I cant trade if the C leg touches the 88.6% retracement. So a little lightbulb went off, and im going to go over a few pairs and see how gartleys perform when the market is in a trend and the C leg does touch the 88.6% but doesnt close below it. I would love to take part in this trade but my rules arent allowing me. Its...
This is not one of my favourite pairs to trade, I hate the spread i get on it, and i front run my orders so i get filled which kills the R/R even more :/ However, i held out a little and managed to enter this at a better price. anyway, this cypher has already completed at the D leg
forgot to post this, but im also in this cypher. This is also where my targets are now at since i extend the fib all the way from C to the top of the D leg.
If the gartley fails, then i will be jumping in on this cypher. This is the first live cypher i will have ever taken. I have finally finished backtesting and wrote out the rules for when i will take them in my trading plan. This is the only pattern i will take that allows for a more offset Risk/reward for T1 because the win/strike rate is so high.
completion at D leg. Entries are a little higher for better R/R
Bat completion at D leg. Nice Support level at 0.752
