High Volume areas on the chart specify the areas that have lots of buying or selling potential on orderbook with old volume, rather then new volume, thus more likely to act as support or resistance once arriving, and allowing for greater interest once there. Either direction works, and allows for range bound play for awhile before moving on to the next high volume area.
