Pepsi looks to be showing some strength once again (still needs to see the 20 ma turn upward). Looks good to put on the watch list as one likely to break out if the S&P continues to downtrend in light of bearish trade news. Dividend aristocrats bode well in volatile markets.
This stock is already bullish, and today has bounced off of a pullback the 10 ema...nice entry.
Even though the relative strength is on the lower end of current market performance, it is turning positive while at the same time CMF is high. If the RS continues to climb in the morning I would call it a buy.
Look at the Chaikin Money Flow line; Institutional buying has definitely started in heavy. They are moving it in slowly to keep the volume down, but it's still going to rise.
Looks like another one for the morning watch list....a little volume and in I go; wish me luck :)
Although this could easily be a pullback, the moving average crossover suggest's that the channel may just be ready to breakout upward just as easily. The next few trading days will prove interesting; a lot of stocks seem to be teeter-tottering between a downward and an upward turn (fingers crossed). Rather than being range bound, we are news bound.
Last week The Hartford rose with daily, even with decreasing volume throughout the week, then finally rallied Fri. And although it settled over the weekend it appears to be daily increasing this week, implying bullishness. Watch in the morning for another move up. Be careful though because it is due for a pullback (which could prove an even better entry).
Looks like a good entry on strong volume....on morning watch for sure!
This is one of The Motley Fools 5 weekly "Best Buy NOW" picks (remember their picks are for 3 to 5 year holds). I was looking at the moving averages even before I got the newsletter; and, it looks like a nice entry to me. Be patient on your entry to see where the doji goes and you may get a lower entry....god luck ;)
Watch for incoming volume in AM, everything looks to be falling into place to continue climbing.
The first few bases after a pattern breakout typically break upward, so watch her closely :)
I hope this is another base setting up because base on base patterns are known to have explosive breakouts
It sure looked like it was breaking out of a new base this morning, and did manage to close above but barely. Definitely one to watch in the morning.
Like they say, when everyone says avoid at all cost we should buy. Wouldn't you know it, Netflix is breaking out of a base pattern
