Target formed a massive gap on it's inventory problems. These will resolve and the gap will fill. In the meantime it's been in a trading range from 140 to 185.
SNOW appears to trade in channels until it reverses. Additionally, it formed a nice cup and handle for the last six months.
This latest drawdown is interesting. Don't want to get burned by a falling knife.
Anyone else think this can go another way? I’d love to here it. When I see this pattern it usually means a breakdown is imminent.
Very reliable chart pattern. CIP with handle formed for Disney. Now waiting on the breakout!
The stochastic for PTON doesn't get into the blue zone (20) very often. Last time it went on an epic run and the previous time was back in March and we all know where that has led.
Something interesting I just realized was that if you bought Exxon in 2003 and held till now you have accumulated dividends that exceed the current stock price ($39.03 in dividends vs today's close 36.08). Of course in the meantime the stock has round tripped from 34.09 (2003) to over 100 (2014).
Buy at the green arrows and sell at the red ones. Your odds are good it's too easy, better than the slot machines for sure!
Guys this is a cash register. Go long soon, wait a day or two to make sure the shake out is over.
AMD is eating Intel's lunch and is going to make significant inroads in the cloud datacenters. They're at something like 5% and could easily go to 20, 30 or more percent of the server farms. If you go onto AWS you can buy these instances. My home setup is a Ryzen 16 cpu box and it screams, plus it was cheaper than a low level Apple...
The support levels for Intel are at 43 and 47 with the long term trend being up. In this trend when support has been hit the stock eventually breaks to new highs. It's in a nice trading range for option positions ; a long bull spread (Put or Call).
Huge breakout. The catalyst (see my previous AMD posts) Intel’s failure to come up with the next gen chips they are now far behind AMD and will be playing catchup for the next few years. realmoney.thestreet.com It appears to me that a new range 60+ will be established and if earnings are good at this weeks release the range may be even higher. Be warned...
Yield > 6%; Price to Book about 1. What’s not to like?
