As predicted two months ago on this day, SPX went short, falling 500 points in January. It climbed back up to retest a key level only to finish out below the 100 Fibonacci level. At this point, it is hard to make an accurate read on what exactly price will do now. The war between Ukraine and Russia complicates life and this is something I certainly have no...
SPX has begun the selloff, or so it seems! Not to become overly bearish either, there are plenty of ways this could revert next week, but there are a few reasons I see SPX continuing to drop. On the technical side price broke the 61.8 level, always key when looking at price action. This occurred on multiple timeframes. The next thing to occur will be a retest...
After backtesting SPX from the 90s to current day, I realized there was a significant change in the way it was traded after the internet boom. It used to look like a forex pair, with regular patterns occuring, but now, it's clear there is manipulation to weed out new money from seeing a long-term gain. It almost feels like talking about a dinosaur when realizing...
So just like AU and GU, NU is following price action: accumulation at a support level, breakout into the bullish side with a bullish engulfing candle. Price then retests at least the 38.9 level, and continues on upwards. For the three ideas I have shared tonight, I see all three, AU, GU, and NU, going long into the new year until their respective prices at the...
It is becoming something significant I will be watching for in the new year, the striking similarities to AU's and GU's price movement. The accumulation wasn't as heavy, but it still accumulated at support, showed an indecision bearish candle, and then flipped with a bullish engulfing candle. Unlike GU, AU was successful retesting of both key levels and would...
So last week showed bullish momentum on GU. There was accumulation around the buy zone, which left the area after a bullish engulfing took to break the trend. My strategy is as follows: drawing out the fib from bottom to top (if bullish, and if I'm bearish, top to bottom), and you see that price actively retests two of my key levels, the 38.9% and possibly the...
Yet again, strong similarities are showing up in the majors vs. USD., like GU, AU and now, NU. Accumulation growing at the 38.9 and setting up for what could be a bullish situation. Still, no positions being taken until the New Year. However this will be interesting to watch play out.
Looking rather similar to GU in structure: holding a dense line of support along the 38.9 Fibonacci level, only AU has actively re-tested this level and made a move upwards. I will need more information and won't take any positions until the New Year.
Unlike GU, which shows potential to continue climbing to new heights, I will say that I am more bearish on EU. Having a double-top pattern, with a broken and retested M, and price is currently underneath the 61.8 level gives me major technical belief that EU could retrace to it's March 2020 low. For now, I am bearish, but I am waiting for the New Year to take...
Going into the new year, GU is at a very interesting position. Resting on a dense level of support, it is hard to say whether it will break through or continue to ascend and go on to be bullish. Most of this comes down to the US economy and what is decided to do with their inflation/debt crisis building up. There is a lot of fear in the market concerning this,...
After having misread a significant play, I am focusing up on the weekly view of XRP which seems to have most major tells of what price is actually doing. You can see that price has rejected a strong resistance at the yellow trend-line. That is also where the 61.8 retracement is on my fibonacci level. I previously thought it would hold for a buy, however price...
Good morning! Ran this play at the first leg of the M, smacked my TP levels, the second leg I've got new entries and now I'm waiting to double at the neckline break. Being that this is new territory for price, I'm curious to see how it will play out. But looking at this setup, I'm short to at least 3920-3900 areas. Let me know what you think!
