This was a tiny position on a chart pattern that looked good. Once it broke out, sold all as it is tiny position, no need to keep it at 1.25% of the account
Bought at the bounce from the EMA $8, sold 1/2 position $9 to book in profit Sold remaining position $14.x as it was getting too advanced. Will look to buy back in at the touch of other ema
See the notes in charts, Bought initially, sold 1/2 for profit, let the other half run. Unfortunately earnings were around the corner and did not realize. Sold for a loss first candle at the gap down
Bought on the potential breakout, Not a relative strength leader ( but it was one of the stocks that was breaking out, market could continue to go higher so took a chance) Sold for -2.5% loss
Terrible add point, market overextended, likely to come down. Extended above the 10 ema the stock itself, no point to add but added ( resulted in loss)
What could I done differently to improve on this trade? I guess, should have kept the 1/2 position as I already had 1/2 position that profited.
Nice buy, nice sell Followed rules, broke below the 50 MA, should have bought it again when there was no follow through to the downside and pay up on the price as it is a strong stock with new growth. NYSE:ONON shoes I see it everywhere so Stock is reflecting on it. Will buy again in future once it sets up
Uber, after the massive gap up and close higher, it felt it was setting up just prior to earnings. Longer term chart was looking good. Bought small position prior to earnings, it failed, sold at the open. It felt like it was setting up again, With closing above the 21 EMA after down move. Premarket it was gapping higher, went ahead and bought it in...
Initial buy was good, sell was premature ( i think general market weakness and not wanting profits to turn into breakeven, sold early), should have waited). In the end it worked out because stock gapped lower ( luck played). Retried buy again but weakness got me to sell the next day.
The re-break of the 50 MA after it closed and broke above got me to sell the position. Interestingly, this trade I let the 1/2 position do what I wanted it to do without me cutting it early
Bought right Sold 1/2 right but again selling full position, I am seeing a trend, I am not being patient and letting the 1/2 position do whatever it wants to do before selling. I am getting washed because of general market weakness. Need to figure out to let the 1/2 run forever...
This one became tricky, the earnings were good, thought it would gap and go, but post earnings, constantly saw selling pressure ( lower low and lower high on daily candle), ended up selling the other 1/2 position as well. Should have waited till 50 MA break? .. FUture will tell
Bought right, sold ( could have done it a day earlier as it gapped up in earnings and had selling throughout the entire day and closed at almost the low breaking 50 MA on heavy volume)
Multiple buy points, see annotation on chart Initially, SPOT didn't rise due to market weakness and hit initial stop (sold 1/2) Rebuy later again as it set up Sold all of it due to being extended
Good buy, sold 1/2 at Extended level sold rest at break below 50 ma should have rebought when there was no further selling pressure post break below the 50 ma.
Bought Price 65 Sold price 66 Stupid sell, this became a case of buying some other stock NYSE:UBER , which failed and me wanting to not lose a small gain (as PLTR was not moving), decided to prematurely, without any reason sell it premarket. Premarket => general market weakness.. I guess theme i am seeing is to focus on my stocks individually and not as a...
Bought just prior to earnings it wasn't typical buy, but it was setting up just prior to earnings so wanted to do a small position trade. Sold 1/2 @ 8% profit sold the rest at 10 ema break (weakness in general market resulted in me reducing the position at 10 ema, otherwise would have kept the 1/2) There was a rebuy at test of 50 MA but sold it for a...
Bought Price 282 Sold Price 282 Became too choppy ( didn't have a full position as there was earnings just prior to buying it, it was 3.5% position), wanted to see if it would gap higher and then I can turn into full position.
