According to Wikipedia, the US debt ceiling has not been raised on August 2nd, with the next adjustment being only in July 2021.
A real US default would cause a pretty large disruption on all the markets, possibly even exceeding the targets in this chart, however this would be my idea for the medium term.
The Currency / Trade war that the US has with China is certainly not giving investors confidence in the markets.
RSI is displaying early stages of bearish momentum.
Looking at Gold, it looks like the bull trend has resumed - further suggesting a recession is near.
What are your thoughts on this?
