The Consumer Banking segment includes loans, deposits, other transactions, and balances with retail customers. The Treasury segment undertakes funding and maintenance of SLR and asset-liability management. The company was founded by Alhaj Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury on June 27, 1983 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
